Coronation Street‘s Tyrone Dobbs is left terrified next week as Carl Webster vows to uncover his secret.
The much-loved mechanic faces an uncertain future while trying to conceal his involvement in Carl’s recent near-death experience at the garage.
With Tyrone so anxious over what’s happened, the timing couldn’t be worse for scheming Carl to start asking some difficult questions.
This week, Corrie confirmed a fan theory by revealing that Tyrone was responsible for Carl being crushed by a car on the night of Theo Silverton’s death.
Tyrone caused an accident with the jack while Carl was tampering with Kevin’s brakes. He panicked in the heat of the moment and fled, so Ronnie Bailey stepped in and promised to sort the situation out.
This explains why Tyrone pretended he was nowhere near the garage that night when Summer Spellman asked him to back up her story about her movements.
In Corrie‘s newest spoiler clip, the walls start to close in on Tyrone as Carl wants answers after overhearing a suspicious conversation. See how the tense exchange plays out right here:
When Carl sees Tyrone at the Rovers, he can’t resist heading over and winding him up.
“You can pretend to be the big man all you like, but your eyes give you away,” Carl remarks. “Now, is that fear or guilt? Maybe a mix of both.”
Tyrone bluffs that it’s neither, but Carl warns: “I’ll find out what you’re hiding. I’m good like that.”
Carl’s threats come as Tyrone is already in turmoil over the impact that his lies are having on Summer.
Tyrone feels terrible that Summer is being held on remand for Theo’s murder, when a simple statement from him could change everything.
Is it only a matter of time before Tyrone comes clean about his mistakes that night?
