Coronation Street‘s Georgia Taylor, who portrays Toyah Battersby on the ITV soap, has clapped back at an online troll who ridiculed her beautiful new tattoo.
The actress first graced the cobbles as Toyah Battersby in 1997, alongside her on-screen sister Leanne, played by Jane Danson, and the rest of the Battersby family.
Over the years, Toyah has been embroiled in numerous dramatic storylines, from a shocking rape incident to the heartbreaking death of her husband Imran Habeeb, portrayed by Charlie De Melo.
Particularly in the last year, Toyah has faced significant challenges, including battling ovarian cancer and having an affair with Leanne’s partner Nick Tilsey, played by Ben Price. The truth eventually surfaced, leaving Leanne understandably furious.

However, following the return of Leanne’s sister Eva Price, played by Catherine Tyldesley, the pair have managed to mend their relationship, reports the Daily Star.
Away from the drama of Coronation Street, Georgia often shares snippets of her daily life with her 104k Instagram followers. This week, she delighted fans by revealing her new tattoo.
In a series of Instagram posts, Georgia shared images from her visit to the tattoo parlour, including a close-up shot of her stunning new floral-inspired body art.
In her post, she penned: “First visit to the newly established @tiger_heron_tattoo today. Sarah @big.bird.tattoo and Paul @stretch.armstrong.tattoo have created the most gorgeously chilled, safe and inclusive space. It’s an absolute joy hanging out with you both. Sarah, thank you for decorating my body so beautifully, as always.”

Toyah’s followers were quick to compliment her new tattoo in the comments section. However, one user queried: “Please tell me that’s not real.” Georgia didn’t let this comment slide, responding with: “Of course it’s real.”
Moreover, another troll left a rude remark that has since been removed. Responding to this, Georgia defiantly retorted: “What a f****** weird thing to say. Maybe I’m having a midlife awakening.”
Despite this, many other followers were enamoured with her new body art. One fan enthused: “It’s beautiful just like you.” Another wrote: “Absolutely beautiful darling.” A third added: “I’m having serious tattoo envy right now. I need to get mine booked in. That’s lovely.”
