There’s big twists and turns on Coronation Street next week, with more than one character taking centre stage. Todd Grimshaw has enough of his controlling partner Theo Silverton next week, and vows to leave him. When Todd is left injured, abusive Theo encourages his partner to lay low in the flat for a few days to avoid being seen.
Todd agrees, but when he’s spotted in the window, Summer Spellman believes there’s an intruder and tells Theo. Theo fears he’s about to be exposed, only for Todd to cover by claiming he got back from his trip early.
When his injuries are shown, he claims he hit his head on a drunken afternoon, but will he be believed? Theo’s soon back to targeting Todd, telling him he should carry on with his training and set himself a 10k goal, as Todd’s heart sinks.
Clearly in agony after a run, Christina Boyd asks him to have a cup of tea with her but will he end up opening up to her? Theo then takes things further and buys Todd an exercise bike.

When a passing Billy and Summer notice the cut on Todd’s face, Theo quickly explains that Todd injured himself whilst partying in London. Billy’s not convinced – so will he expose the abuse?
Soon there’s some news when Theo’s ex Danielle reveals she’s taking the kids to Tenerife for Christmas. Todd’s horrified, expecting Theo to be furious, but when he walks in Theo backs up Danielle.
Theo soon takes things out on Todd though, calling him out for his lack of fitness before blaming him for Danielle’s decision. Todd declares he can’t take anymore and goes to leave, but will he?
Also next week, Nina Lucas and Shona Platt vow to get to the bottom of what Roy Cropper is hiding, with him unnerved about something. When Shona looks through his post, Roy is not happy.

Dev Alahan brings daughter Asha home, and there’s a split for Ollie Driscoll and Dee-Dee Bailey. Soon, Dee-Dee confides some big news in Alya Nazir.
Maggie Driscoll clocks a spat between long-time rivals Eva Price and Maria Connor, while there’s also drama between Maria’s son Liam and Eva’s stepson Will. When Daniel Osbourne asks out Will’s coach Megan, she accepts.
Will is fuming, while Daniel has no idea about Will and Megan’s inappropriate relationship, amid the soaps’ grooming storyline. When Liam quizzes Will about his life in Hull and wonders if he’s got a girlfriend, Will takes offence and squares up to him. Things only get worse when Daniel and Megan kiss.
