Jack Osbourne has confirmed that his wife Aree is expecting their second child together — and revealed that his late father Ozzy Osbourne knew he would be a grandfather again before his death.
The 40-year-old star, who was eliminated from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Friday night, shared the heartwarming news shortly after being reunited with Aree and their young daughter Maple following his emotional jungle exit.
Jack confirmed that not only is the couple preparing to welcome another baby, but that he had also been able to tell his legendary rocker father about the pregnancy before Ozzy passed away in July.
Speaking about the moment, Jack said: “It’s awesome. It’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing — probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way. It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked it in a bit more hopefulness.”
Jack, who is already a father of four, said the exciting news has helped him through one of the most painful periods of his life following the loss of his father.
He later told The Sun: “It’s been easy for me — it’s been a lot harder for my wife! We’re super-excited. It was sort of planned, I should say. It was maybe a little earlier than expected.” He added that they had always wanted more children together and fell pregnant “miraculously.”
Viewers had recently watched Jack reunite with Aree and their young daughter Maple in sweet and emotional scenes on Friday night’s episode, just moments before he was voted out of the jungle.
Jack also shared how proud his late father would have been of his jungle journey, saying Ozzy would have been “very supportive” of everything he achieved on the show. He added that his entire family is incredibly proud of him.
Expectant mother Aree, 34, first met Jack on a dating app in 2019. The couple later married in a secret ceremony in 2023. Together they share daughter Maple, while Jack is also father to Pearl, 13, Andy, 10, and Minnie, seven, from his previous marriage to Lisa Stelly, who he split from in 2018, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Earlier this week, Daily Mail exclusive photographs showed a glowing Aree proudly displaying her growing baby bump, sparking speculation before the couple officially confirmed the pregnancy.
There had already been whispers among family members and friends of Jack’s I’m A Celebrity campmates, who had themselves noticed the subtle signs of Aree’s pregnancy during recent appearances.
Jack also revealed that he had told Ozzy about the pregnancy shortly before his father’s death in July. Ozzy passed away from a heart attack aged 79, leaving behind his devastated wife Sharon Osbourne, 73.
A source close to Sharon said she was “in need of a smile” following Ozzy’s sudden passing, adding that news of another grandchild would be deeply comforting.
The source said: “Sharon is still heartbroken. Ozzy’s death came much sooner than she expected and she is devastated. Any joyful family news like this would bring a much-needed smile to her face. She adores her grandchildren, so another on the way would be wonderful for her.”
During his time in the jungle, Jack had spoken openly to his campmates about his father’s death, admitting how deeply the loss had affected him. He told them: “It was definitely a shock. We knew he was sick for a while, but we didn’t know it would be that quick.”
He became emotional while speaking with his close friend and campmate Eddie Kadi, confessing how much he missed Ozzy’s unique presence.
“Just his energy,” Jack said. “He had this force — so hard to describe — like he swallowed the galaxy and didn’t know what to do with it.”
He then added softly: “He’d be so supportive of this. I’m still navigating it all… it’s been three, nearly four months, so it’s still pretty fresh.”
As Jack now prepares to welcome a new baby with Aree, the family’s latest joyful chapter comes against the backdrop of both deep loss and renewed hope — a moment he admits his father would have treasured.
