Shona McGarty, who came third in the final of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, has opened up about her close bond with rapper Aitch after his emotional departure from the jungle. The EastEnders star made it to the final three but was eliminated, leaving Tom Read Wilson and AngryGinge as the last two campmates, with Ginge ultimately taking the crown.
During her exit interview with Ant and Dec, Shona gushed about Aitch, revealing how their friendship had developed over their time together in the jungle. She said, “When Aitch came into the Jungle, this rapper, he was all bravado, but underneath it all, I could tell he was quite scared of the whole experience. He’s very normal, down-to-earth, and we had a similar upbringing. I felt like an older sister to him, and I wanted to protect him.”
Their close connection sparked rumors of a romance during their time on the show.
