Coronation Street’s Cait Fitton says ‘exciting things coming’ as she launches move away from cobbles

Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has told fans ‘exciting things are coming’ as she was seen launching a move away from the famous cobbles.
The actress is best known for playing Lauren Bolton in the ITV soap, having made her debut back in 2022. Viewers were first introduced to the troubled teen alongside her evil dad, Reece Bolton, who was a member of Griff Reynolds’ far-right gang.
Viewers will recall that they used Lauren to befriend David Platt’s step-son, Max Turner, who was later turned against his community by Reece, Griff and co as he was groomed and got caught up in their schemes.
When their horror came to light, Lauren left the Street, only to return and face a number of difficult years, with her going missing and was presumed dead, only for her to be found pregnant with Joel Deering’s baby after it was revealed he had been grooming her.
Now, Lauren can be found behind the Rovers Return bar, having been given the chance of a job by Carla Connor when she took back the boozer, which was bought with her money that was stolen from the factory by Stephen Reid, before it was stolen by Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley following his death.
But away from Weatherfield, Cait is often keeping her fans and followers update and in a new post on Thursday (December 11), the soap star was seen teasing her followers with an ‘announcement’.
It was then later that she returned to reveal she was launching her own YouTube channel. She shared a mini video which confirmed: “Introducing Haus of Cait. Welcome to my channel.”

She then shared a post of her laptop open on her new YouTube channel, with her device sitting on her dressing room table so she could be seen taking the snap in the reflection from the mirror. “The gworlies started a YT channel,” she typed alongside the picture. “Head over to my bio and click the link to subscribe. Exciting things coming,” she added.
It comes after Cait recently looked back at her – and Lauren’s – life on the long-running show so far as she marked three years since her debut back in November.
Taking to Instagram, the soap star shared a string of photos from her Corrie journey so far, including a classic shot outside the Rovers, pictures with her past and present co-stars, including Max star Paddy Bever, and a behind-the-scenes insight into filming.
Alongside the post, Cait wrote: “3 years playing the pocket rocket that is Lozza Bolton. Time flies when you really are having fun. Let’s look back on some of my favourite moments so far…”
After individually captioning each photo, she added: “Thank you everyone who has shown nothing but love towards Lauren over the past 3 years . I love playing a character that is so complex to play . I love her!
“I feel so proud and privileged to have been given the honour to play out such inspiring stories and raise such important issues throughout my time on the cobbles so far. Thank you @coronationstreet and to @brookekinsella my amazing agent for always believing and trusting me within this process. I will forever be grateful to call this my job.”
