Heather Tom has spent 35 years making her mark in the soap world. During that time, the actress has had many on-screen romances with some amazing acting partners.
Although she currently plays Katie Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, Tom also appeared on The Young and the Restless, where she got her soap start as Victoria Newman, and on One Life to Live as Kelly Cramer.

Since she celebrated over three decades in the business in March, Tom has been looking back at her blessed career all year long. As Parade reported, she opened up about fan encounters, including one that saw her getting screamed at in the middle of Times Square.

Now Tom has revealed the on-screen romances that are close to her heart, and the answers might surprise some die-hard soap fans.
“I think that honestly it goes to my first and my last,” the soap star shared with People magazine.
The first one was during her days on The Young and the Restless
, when Victoria fell in love with Ryan McNeil (Scott Reeves).
“Victoria was 16, and he was older. It was just a Romeo and Juliet storyline. People still come up to me and talk about how much they love that story, and it was really well-constructed. I had so much fun doing it,” she explained, also calling the story “wildly romantic” and “honest.”
Fast forward to her current romantic situation on The Bold and the Beautiful, which is Tom’s other favorite on-screen romance. Since Tom joined the CBS soap as Katie, Bill (Don Diamont) has been the man in Katie’s life.
It’s been 16 years that Tom has worked with Diamont as they navigated through the rocky romance that is Katie and Bill.

“The characters were very, very different when they first met, and they are different now because of each other, which is a nice thing. I feel like that relationship really rings true,” Tom expressed.
She also admitted that Diamont is one of her dear friends and has been for decades, which adds to the chemistry between their characters.
“I’ve known Don Diamont since I was 15 and so we have just a truthful relationship. I love him. He’s my family in real life, and I think that they allow the history to really play out,” the soap star spilled.
It’s a good thing Tom likes her on-screen partner because Katie and Bill are back on again.
