Coronation Street actor Jude Riordan has certainly grabbed fans’ attention after posting some fresh pictures on social media.
Jude arrived on the ITV soap in 2020 in the role of Sam Blakeman. He turned up on the cobbles as Nick Tilsley’s (Ben Price) secret son and quickly won over viewers.
Sam has been part of numerous major storylines on the show, including the heartbreaking death of his mother Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac), who was murdered by villain Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor).
In 2021, the gifted young actor scooped the best newcomer award at the National Television Awards. Beyond Coronation Street, Jude has featured in programmes such as Channel 4’s documentary The Secret Life of 4, 5 and 6 Year Olds in 2017 and portrayed Little Phil in Katy.
He has also featured in Sky One’s Brassic as Tyler Croft – with his character’s mother played by ex-Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan. Additionally, Jude regularly keeps his 90.5k Instagram followers in the loop about his daily life, reports the Mirror.
Recently, the young star stunned fans after revealing his transformation. Posting to his Instagram account, Jude uploaded several photographs from a recent photoshoot.
His followers were swift to voice their astonishment at his transformation, with one fan writing: “Oh my gosh he’s grown up so much!” Another person wrote: “Grown up so fast.”
A third fan responded: “Oh my goodness, little dude! You look so grown up!” This follows Jude recently reflecting on his stint in Brassic, the Sky Comedy programme which concluded after its seventh series aired.
Posting on Instagram, he uploaded several photographs featuring himself with Michelle and co-star Joseph ‘Joe’ Gilgun, who also co-created the show.
In his Instagram post, he wrote: “I like the funny dog, it’s an owl. Kick him! I can remember every day I did on Brassic [crying laughing emoji]. However much fun you can imagine it would be X it by 10!”.
“Grew up with the greats. Look how young Joe looks. From sat at the Liverpool docks running lines with everyone in different accents [crying laughing emoji] to many hours driving to France to the best bacon butties to crew dogs and just hanging out with the funniest people. Brassic days were really GOOD TIMES!”.
