Katie Price has undergone yet another cosmetic procedure, brushing aside growing concern from fans — and even a desperate warning from her own mother — as she insisted she is “healthy” and simply fixing what weight loss has taken away.
The former glamour model revealed she had filler injected into her buttocks during a YouTube vlog filmed at a UK clinic, admitting she felt her bottom looked like a “deflated balloon” after shedding weight. The procedure came just minutes after she received an alarming text from her 73-year-old mum, Amy, who told her she looked “too thin” and “shocking”, and questioned whether she was using weight-loss injections.
Reading the message aloud on camera, Katie shared her mum’s exact words: “Kate, you are too thin. You look shocking. Are you using a pen? You are ill.”
Unfazed, Katie replied that she hears the same concern “every week” and dismissed the claims, insisting she has always been slim. She stressed that her recent weight loss was down to being “more active again and healthier”, adding, “I am healthy and I do eat. If you look at old pictures of me, even in the Jordan days, I was always skinny.”
Addressing critics who accuse her of having too many procedures, Katie was defiant. She said she was “bringing life back” to her bum with 500ml of filler and added, “Damn what anyone says — they’re not me. I am me. And I will do what I want to myself.”
She also pushed back against horror stories linked to cosmetic surgery abroad, explaining that complications can happen anywhere. Drawing on her own past experiences, she admitted her body has rejected implants before, but insisted it wasn’t the surgeon’s fault, saying it was simply how her body reacts.
Despite confessing to an intense fear of needles, Katie said she expected to be sore for a few days and planned to recover quietly at home, even recording her podcast from bed. In a pointed response to her mum, she joked that once her bum looks bigger, the next message would probably be: “Oh, you’re so stupid.”
