Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
In case The Bold and the Beautiful hasn’t hit us on the head with a hammer enough regarding Electra and RJ, the show needed to do it some more on the January 20, 2026, episode. They needed to spell it right out and even remind Will that they are cousins, but not those kinds of cousins. Not the kind of cousins that are related by blood or anything. And they never met each other before. In case you didn’t know. And why does B&B need us to know this? Well, because Electra has already fallen for RJ, and she doesn’t even realize it. Heck, we’re surprised she remembers Will’s name after her jaw fell to the floor the second she walked into Eric’s office and laid her eyes upon the Great Prince of Forrester. But he is not a Forrester. He is really a Marone, so don’t ever forget it. If you forget, you’ll wonder why Electra is having sex with her cousin (but not that kind of cousin) in about 2-3 months. We don’t mind the show bringing RJ back (we weren’t even sure he was gone), but why does he have to be for Electra, when there is a perfectly good character choice for him in Dylan, someone who, lo and behold, is not related to him. But we have to remember what show we’re watching. If cousins didn’t date, would this really be B&B?
