Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has been forced to drop the price of the former marital home for the third time, as the once-lavish west London property continues to struggle to find a buyer following a devastating fire.

The five-bedroom house, tucked away on an exclusive street in Chiswick, was once valued at £7–8 million. But after a serious blaze in September 2023, its value plummeted dramatically — now sitting at £3.2 million, less than half of its former worth.

Lisa, 49, first listed the property in May 2024 with an asking price of £4 million. After limited progress, the house was quietly taken off the market in January after a £250,000 price cut. Eight months later, it returned — again reduced — and now carries its lowest price yet.

Although the property attracted early interest, a source told The Sun that the fire damage has become a major stumbling block.I'm A Celeb host Ant and makeup artist Lisa split in 2018 after 18 years of marriage

“Lisa is keen to get it sold. She’s had a lot of interest, but she’s no nearer to sealing a deal. The damage from the fire appears to be putting people off — it’ll take at least another £1 million to fully restore. She just wants to see the back of it.”

The inferno caused more than £1 million worth of damage, and several rooms still visibly show the impact. Buyers are being warned they face a substantial restoration project.

Despite the damage, the home remains impressive on paper. According to the listing, it boasts an 80-foot south-facing garden, complete with mature trees, decking, a self-contained garden studio, gym, and a games/cinema room with bar area. Listing photos show a striking contrast between the spacious outdoor areas and the fire-scarred interiors.

Lisa was awarded the house as part of her £31 million divorce settlement from Ant McPartlin in 2020. The couple — who split in 2018 after 18 years of marriage — originally bought the property together in 2006 for £2.3 million.

After the divorce, Lisa rented out the house before purchasing another nearby property, where she currently lives.

Ant, meanwhile, has moved on both personally and professionally. He married former personal assistant Anne-Marie Corbett in 2021, and the couple welcomed their first child, son Wilder Patrick McPartlin, in May 2024.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Ant had also snapped up a record-breaking new-build mansion in Surrey for more than £10 million, with stamp duty alone said to exceed £1 million. The star recently sold his Wimbledon home following a planning dispute and is now believed to be living among high-profile neighbours including Sir Cliff Richard, John Terry, Stormzy and Gary Lineker.

One local reportedly said:

“It’s a record sale for the area and it’s all anyone is gossiping about. It’s one of the prime private estates, so he shouldn’t have trouble with neighbours any more.”

Ant’s finances are unlikely to be under strain. He has recently signed a £30 million ITV ‘golden handcuffs’ deal with long-time presenting partner Declan Donnelly.

However, despite their very different paths, both Ant and Lisa were united by heartbreak over the weekend when their beloved dog Hurley passed away.

It’s understood Ant rushed to join Lisa at the vet just hours after attending a Britain’s Got Talent press conference in London. Together, they made the devastating decision to have Hurley put to sleep after learning the 12-year-old dog was too ill to recover.

According to The Sun on Sunday, both were able to say goodbye — with Ant staying by Hurley’s side as the dog passed away peacefully.
