Victoria Beckham and David Beckham set aside family tensions on Friday night as they marked son Cruz Beckham’s milestone 21st birthday with a lavish dinner at Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Gymkhana in London’s Piccadilly.
The famous clan emerged from the swanky venue in high spirits, presenting a picture of unity despite the ongoing estrangement from eldest son Brooklyn. Victoria, 51, looked effortlessly chic in pieces from her own designer label, while David, 50, cut a dapper figure in a navy suit as he sweetly held hands with daughter Harper, 14, guiding her down the steps.

Cruz was joined by his girlfriend, Brazilian singer Jackie Apostel, 30, who proudly wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the faces of Cruz and his bandmates — a subtle but touching nod to his blossoming music career. Romeo Beckham, 23, also attended with girlfriend Kim Turnbull, the pair appearing loved-up as they followed closely behind David and Victoria.
A Birthday Message That Spoke Volumes
Earlier in the day, David led the tributes with an emotional Instagram post that many interpreted as a pointed message amid the ongoing family fallout.

Sharing childhood footage of Cruz playing guitar and piano, and holidaying with his siblings — including Brooklyn — David wrote: “Happy 21st birthday to my little boy. Not so little anymore but the proudest thing that I am of you is the person and man that you have become, you are kind, considerate and fiercely loyal to your family, friends and everyone around you which makes you a very special person.”
He continued: “You are on your own journey in life and you are working hard and having fun which is what life is all about… We love you Cruzie and hope you have the most amazing day because you deserve to.”
Signing off with a loving nod to Victoria, he added: “Well done mum on bringing up another special young man.”
Victoria echoed the sentiment in her own tribute, writing: “Happy birthday…. we could not be prouder of the sweet, kind, talented young man you have become. You have worked so hard and learned your craft, the world is now your oyster. We love you so much!!”

Brooklyn’s Absence Looms Large
While the evening was filled with smiles and designer glamour, Brooklyn’s absence once again cast a shadow over proceedings.
Now based in the United States with wife Nicola Peltz — daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz — Brooklyn was last seen promoting his Cloud 23 hot sauce brand at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami.

In January, he addressed his followers in a six-page Instagram statement, alleging that his parents had prioritised public image over private relationships. “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote. “The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
He further claimed: “Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”

Unlike his siblings, Brooklyn did not appear in Victoria’s recent Netflix docuseries and also missed David’s 50th birthday celebrations, as well as his long-awaited investiture at Windsor Castle.
For one night, however, David and Victoria appeared determined to focus on Cruz — celebrating his coming of age with style, loyalty and a united family front.
