ANOTHER MASSIVE BLUNDER HAS JUST EXPOSED THE SHOW’S BIGGEST MUR.DER SECRET

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street fans think they have spotted a second potential cast slip-up in the soap’s upcoming death mystery. In a flashforward episode that aired earlier this month, Betsy Swain discovered a dead body, with many fans speculating who the mystery victim could be.

Five residents of Weatherfield were spotlighted, with Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey, Maggie Driscoll, Megan Walsh and Theo Silverton confirmed as potential victims.

While Theo is currently the favourite among viewers to meet his maker, a couple of other stars have hinted at their demise.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Jodie Ramsey star Olivia Frances-Brown shared a photo of herself in character along with a slightly suspicious caption..

Frances-Brown wrote: “Came to the cobbles looking for closure and maybe a bit of chaos. How are we all liking Jodie? Would you trust her? Thank you for all the kind messages. I’ve loved every second of bringing her to life.”

With the post appearing to be written in the past tense, could it indicate that her time on the soap is coming to an end? Or could it be a deliberate red herring?

One fan picked up on the potential slip-up, commenting: “Past tense quote?! Nooooo! So intrigued by your character, and your portrayal is fabulous!”

This marks the second member of the cast to hint at their departure, with Jonathan Howard, who plays Carl Webster, teasing his own death during an interview with This Morning soaps expert Sharon Marshall.

Asked about fan predictions that he would be killed off on Lisa and Carla’s wedding day, Howard said: “I mean, I’m just going around disrupting everyone.”

He continued: “I’m stealing off my mum, I’ve already stole my brother’s wife, I’ve done a hit and run with Tyrone, I’ve got teenagers stealing cars for me. I’m not the nicest on the Street at the moment.

“I’ve had a really good time here. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.”

After Marshall pointed out that Howard was using the past tense, he said: “We’re going to see what happens in the future…”

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
