Miss Dylan had Bold & Beautiful fans rooting for her when Ivy and Electra piled on, but all that may be about to change thanks to a twist that signals a darker new direction we never wanted her to go.
Dylan wasn’t the only one stunned when Ivy confronted her with allegations of wrong-doing and ordered her out of town. Sure, she spent time alone with Will against Electra’s wishes, but it was definitely a grey area considering Will assured her it was fine, and Electra was well-aware that they were together babysitting Hayes that evening.
Although Will and Dylan grew closer, nothing as “improper” as Ivy was suggesting went down. Even if Dylan was attracted to Will (and who wouldn’t be?), she did nothing that could be construed as outright making a play for him. In fact, she mentioned her concerns about Electra’s boundaries more than once. Ivy came off as a lunatic and troublemaker.
Dylan was well-liked by fans not only because she was respectful, but because she was a breath of fresh air. A fun, normal girl whose plight touched our hearts. That’s exactly why a certain twist for Miss Dylan fills us with such dread.
We could guess where things were headed when Dylan gushed to herself about Will being her “prince” after he plucked her off the mean streets of L.A. once again. The knight in shining armor stuff was a dead giveaway that she’d fallen for him, but somehow it was still startling when she went in for a kiss.
Watching Dylan put the “bold” in Bold & Beautiful signaled a sea change that left us feeling a little… queasy. Why? With Dylan being so forward with Will, we now have to wonder where this is going… and whether it’s going to be the huge disappointment we fear.
Is Dylan simply the girl next door sweetly shooting her shot? Or is she destined to become the next Luna, who, if you’ll recall, was super adorable at the outset as well.
With this being Bold & Beautiful, and a confrontation between Dylan and Electra on the horizon, things could take a darker turn for the former art school teacher in the blink of an eye.
Frankly, we’d rather Will have dumped Electra for being a mean girl to her so-called friend, and then fallen for Dylan before she ever had to make a move, but we can’t have nice things. All the more reason to worry that Bold & Beautiful will blunder by morphing the refreshingly normal Dylan into the next obsessed psychopath.
With all of that said, the twist of Dylan making a move on Will has energized the Bold & Beautiful fanbase into taking sides and choosing their couple
