SH0CKING SECRET: THE ULTIMATE REVENGE NOBODY SAW COMING!

The Bold and the Beautiful has done a fantastic job at positioning Dylan as a sympathetic character who is being treated poorly by Electra and Ivy. Viewers love a rags-to-riches story, and Sydney Bullock’s portrayal of a down-on-her-luck damsel, clawing her way into the orbit of the rich and famous. This week, Dylan gave Electra and Ivy a long-overdue verbal smackdown, earning her the honor of Performer of the Week.

After being hired by Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Dylan did her best to start on the right foot with Electra (Laneya Grace). However, Electra continued to berate her for the information that Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) misinterpreted from outside of Will’s beach house. Bullock breathed new confidence into Dylan when standing up to Electra in the Forrester showroom. She refused to stand there and take more unjust criticism for her actions, when Electra herself had been far from perfect.

The version of Dylan that stood before Electra wasn’t the same timid girl that viewers first encountered. Bullock conveyed a far more confident version of the character, and she was willing to fight for her place at Forrester and for the right to remain in Will’s (Crew Morrow) life. The changes in facial expressions and posture showcased Miss Dylan’s transformation into someone capable of standing up to her bullies. It was an inspiring performance that viewers could potentially resonate with, as many have experienced being looked down on for being less fortunate.

What’s next for Dylan

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Dylan is in an interesting predicament because if she fully uncovers the truth about what Ivy did to Electra’s letter for Will, she risks losing him for good. Dylan’s been quite clear about her feelings for Will, and with the Spencer heir essentially back on the market, she has a monumental choice ahead of her. Would she risk it all by being fully upfront and honest with Will about Ivy’s duplicitous actions? Or is it safer to keep the information to herself and allow Will and Electra to grow further apart to snag her “prince” for herself?

Dylan doesn’t come across as the type of girl who likes keeping secrets from others, even if it’s at the detriment of her own happiness. The likely outcome will be her spilling everything to Will and allowing him to choose his own destiny. However, beyond the relationship drama with Will, Dylan seems poised for a real future at Forrester Creations. She has Steffy by her side, and with the Co-CEO in her corner, she has the potential to outlast Ivy and Electra, despite their position as Forresters at the family company. Electra and Ivy’s unwillingness to follow Steffy’s directive to give Dylan a chance could become their undoing, pushing Dylan further up the ladder at the fashion house.
