Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ Jodie Ramsey’s next move and it involves DS Lisa Swain
It would be fair to say that Corrie fans aren’t very trusting of Jodie and have shared their latest suspicions

Coronation Street fans think they have ‘rumbled’ Jodie Ramsey’s next move and they’re certain it involves DS Lisa Swain after she recently became involved in her family life with Carla Connor.
Viewers of the ITV soap still haven’t quite worked newcomer Jodie out following her first appearance in Weatherfield back in January, with the character making her debut in Corrie’s epic crossover with Emmerdale, dubbed Corriedale.
While not involved in the dramatic crash and the centre of the historic crossover, it was during her escape that she became injured, running into a tree when DC Kit Green gave chase through the woods.
The incident left her in the hopital, which is where she saw her long-lost sister, Shona Platt, for the first time in years. Shona, who was pregnant at the time, was involved in the deadly smash with her husband, David, and once they’d moved back to their local hospital in Weatherfield, Jodie led a reunion with her older sibling.
Jodie has since made herself comfortable with the Platts after being invited to stay at No.8 Coronation Street and it seems she’s keen to get closer to David, and replace Shona in the life she has built for herself on the cobbles.
But her behaviour towards other Weatherfield residents has also been coming into question and so, Corrie fans were concerned when Jodie put herself forward as a babysitter for baby Connie, the niece of her neighbour and Lisa’s soon-to-be wife, Carla Connor, after the little one was left on their doorstep to look after last month.
In recent episodes, Bethany Platt found herself chatting to Lisa and when she made comments about Jodie’s nanny experience, Bethany commented that they must have had to get a lot of references.
Lisa admitted that Carla had done the background checks and turning to her uncle, David, Bethany asked if he too had carried out any checks on his sister-in-law. Lisa thought it was a joke and left, but Bethany continued to question David and the look on her face suggested she wasn’t quite done with exploring Jodie’s authenticity.

Now, spoilers for next week’s Corrie have revealed an upcoming problem for Lisa, as after another fruitless search for her police badge, she sets off for work. And Corrie fans are already convinced that Jodie is involved, and think the ID pass could end up in her ‘trophy box’.
