What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
Daphne Rose confronted Ivy about the letter she withheld from Will to Electra. Ivy maintained that her niece deserved the best, and that was a life with RJ. Ivy said that she was Electra’s guardian. Daphne Rose said that she had gone too far, taking the letter. Ivy said that she didn’t regret a thing and then left.
Ivy said she deserves better than Will, and he intends to make sure that she gets it. RJ was working on some sketches in Eric’s office when a frustrated Brooke burst into the room. Brooke recounted her encounter with Katie. RJ said Will has turned out to be just like his dad, breaking Electra’s heart. He
Brooke noted that RJ is protective of Electra. Then, Daphne Rose entered. She said she was aware that Will had feelings for Electra. Brooke said that she thinks the world of Electra.
Food for Thought
At Il Giardino, Dylan showed Deke her first Forrester paycheck. She said she could rent a place of her own. Deke asked Dylan if she was okay. Dylan said her heart was telling her one thing, but her head was telling her something else. Deke said that he didn’t envy Dylan’s position — wanting to balance her feelings for Will while honoring her friendship with Electra. Dylan mused it wasn’t much of a friendship. Deke said that whether Dylan moves out of Will’s or not, she shouldn’t give up on love.
After Dylan left, Remy showed up to talk to Deke. Deke said he wasn’t sure he was ready for this. Remy said he’d given Deke space even though there are a million memes he’d been wanting to send him. Deke said Remy loved blowing up his phone with them, including the cute, sappy ones about love. Remy said that he missed Deke, and he wanted their life together. Remy took Deke’s hand and said he hoped love would conquer all.
Disconnect
In the showroom, Electra told Will she had sent him a message. He said he wasn’t sure he’d gotten it. Electra assured him he had, but what mattered was whether or not Dylan was going to go or not.
Ivy interrupted Will and Electra. She wanted to know what was going on. Ivy urged Will to go back to Dylan and leave her niece alone. After Will left, Electra told Ivy that she didn’t need to run him out. Ivy said that Stephanie and Massimo had drive, and their genes are in RJ. He’s going to succeed, Ivy said. She urged Electra to let go of Will. Later, Ivy walked into Eric’s office just as Brooke was praising Electra and RJ’s relationship.
In the showroom, RJ asked Electra what was wrong. Electra said it was payday, and that Will said Dylan would live with him till she got her first paycheck. RJ said he’d rather talk to her about her creative, hard work — not Will and Dylan. Electra said there’d be no jewelry line if it hadn’t been for Quinn Fuller. Electra said Quinn founded the jewelry line at Forrester. RJ said Quinn freaked him out. Electra said that Ivy had told her stories, but added that she’d love to get her hands on the Hope For The Future Diamond, as it had magical powers. RJ said Electra looked even more beautiful when she was passionate.
RJ told Electra to stop thinking about Will and Electra. He kissed her hand. Then they kissed on the lips. She said she appreciated what Will was trying to do. He said he was going to keep trying until he succeeded.
Dylan’s decision
At the beach house, an excited Dylan showed her paycheck to Will. He said that Electra had told him about Dylan’s first check. Dylan and Will said they felt like they each had done Electra wrong. Will said he still loved Electra. Dylan said that he could get her back as she was moving out.
Dylan said her staying there was just supposed to be temporary. She said that she wouldn’t compete with Electra. “As much as I care about you, and I do, I really do, but I have an opportunity to prove myself at Forrester and who I am, myself, as a friend…even if that means giving up the most precious thing in my life,” Dylan said. “I have to do that.”
Will noted that Electra crossed the line, too. Dylan said that Will wouldn’t have kissed her if he hadn’t seen her kiss RJ first. “Mistakes were made on both sides,” Dylan said. She told him that Will could fix everything that she had done.
Dylan curtsied in front of Will. They smiled and shared a hug as Dylan said, “Goodbye, Will.” They were both unaware that across town, RJ and Electra were growing closer.
