THE LOGAN LEGACY IN PERIL: A TRIUMPH THAT FEELS LIKE A TOTAL TRAGEDY?

Bold & Beautiful designer Eric has expressed regrets aplenty about doing a line for Logan. Ridge has scoffed that that Katie’s company will never compete with Forrester Creations. Brooke has gone so far as to call Logan a “disgusting little fashion house.” But all that matters in the April 24 episode is how well-received the gowns are.

It’s Make-or-Break for Katie

Already, Katie has had nightmarish visions of her first official show going south — with Brooke ROFL at her failure, even. But Katie’s fears are laid to rest Friday as Logan’s inaugural line is declared a rousing success. The question then becomes, where does she go from here?

Time to Staff Up

Obviously, Katie won’t be using Eric again as a designer. He wanted to renege on their agreement and yank his designs, and he didn’t even stick around Logan to finish what he started. So Katie’s next step — and if we were her, we’d already have taken it — has to be to hire a new sketch artist.

For a second there, the fashionista had seemed extremely keen to recruit Deke, who was fired from Forrester as quickly as he was hired. That plan was pushed so far onto the backburner that it was damn near forgotten about. But now that Katie is going to have to think about putting out a second line, she may finally rescue Deke from his job waiting tables at Il Giardino.

Onward to Battle

Meanwhile, Ridge and Brooke are sure to make good on their threat to (at least attempt to) crush Logan. But how? Instead of fighting fire with fire, we’d wager that “Bridge” will fight womenswear with menswear — pitting Logan’s next line of dresses against golden boy R.J.’s suits. Who are you hoping will come out on top?
