Jennifer Tilly continues to opt for fashion over function.
Ahead of the upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 reunion, Bravo released a look at the stars’ outfits.
Tilly, returning for her second season as a Friend of the Housewives, went viral for her custom Balmain gown featuring her profile. “I’m wearing a beautiful Balmain dress made specifically for me,” Tilly told Bravo.
The custom black strapless gown had her profile on the right side of her body, giving a knowing look that was made of “millions and millions of beads.”
“The dress weighs about 30 pounds,” she revealed.
“I can’t really sit in it, but it looks good standing up,” the Chucky star confessed. “The vibe is going to be incredibly uncomfortable!”
Her look was completed with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, a Bulgari ring, a Bulgari bracelet, a Deco bracelet and a diamond bracelet.
Her glam was done by makeup artist Rob Rumsey and hairstylist Johnny Stuntz. “Rob did my makeup to look like the front of the dress, so I match, and I’m going with a big ’70s hairdo.”
Tilly’s style, extensive wardrobe and reputation as an auction buyer have been featured repeatedly throughout her time on the Bravo series. In January 2025, she opened up to Town & Country about collecting archival pieces once owned by Joan Crawford, Elizabeth Taylor, the Duchess of Windsor’s Cartier and Norma Shearer.
“I like things that belonged to famous people, powerful women and movie stars. And often the stories associated with the pieces are about those forging their own way,” she said. “And I wear it all. It gives me joy and feels like a statement of who I am.”
“I collect what I love,” Tilly told the outlet. “The pieces were historical but not to my taste. I like big, sculptural pieces.”
“Jewelry has energy,” she said, before advising, “before you buy anything, try it on. You will feel it.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 two-part reunion begins April 23 and concludes April 30.
