The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Y&R Sets Up a Devastating Twist as Sally’s Pregnancy Loss Threatens to Change Everything Between Her and Billy Forever

We know, we know. Any number of people are currently in a postion to become victims of the fallout from Victor’s latest schemes. Nikki, Lily, Patty… the list goes on. But in the particular case we’re imagining, the writing is on the wall, and the damage would be nothing less than utterly devastating.

Victor’s latest plot to get Newman Enterprises back targets not only Phyllis, but also Cane and Billy. It might be a journey, but we’ve little doubt that Cane will manage to get himself to New York to save Malcolm’s life and win Lily over in the process. That’s another clear case of ‘the writing is on the wall’.

Billy, meanwhile, didn’t actually do anything incriminating, but who knows what Victor’s AI cooked up in those fake emails? The Mustache has been gunning for him for decades and would like nothing better than to see him locked up. Victoria, however, seemed to change her tune after the announcement that her ex is engaged to Sally and they’re having a baby together, declaring, “This changes everything.”

Unfortunately, Victoria pulling her support from her father’s scheme at this point is unlikely to have any effect on either Victor or the case. Her only option to stop what’s already been set in motion would be to expose Daddy’s fraud, which, we’re guessing she wouldn’t be willing to do. So, in a word, Billy’s screwed. But he’s not the person we’re most concerned about.

Our fear is that timing of Sally’s pregnancy, along with the focus on the fear of losing a child, has set the scene for the stress of Billy’s situation to cause her to miscarry. This would, unfortunately, make her and the unborn baby the latest victims of Victor’s schemes, which have an established history of causing collateral damage to innocents. Summer almost died, Phyllis was raped repeatedly, the list goes on.

While we hope we’re wrong, there’s no denying the fallout would change everything. It would be a gut-punch for Adam, fuel the Abbotts’ thirst for revenge on Victor, teach Victoria a hard lesson about blindly supporting her daddy’s machinations, and send Billy into a spiral, which could end his engagement and lead Sally in another direction as she nurses her latest heartbreak.
