Charlotte Bupp already knows what she’d like to see happen next. “I hope he ends up being related to Nick,” she wrote. “It worked for [Howarth’s One Life to Live character] Todd Manning when they revealed he was [heroine] Viki’s brother… That really helped redeem his character. I could even see Matt ending up in a romance with Phyllis… with the two of them taking on the world together the way Todd and Blair took on the Buchanans.”
The question is, once Phyllis learns who the newcomer is and what he’s done — for decades! — will she help him? As angry as she is at Victor and all of Genoa City’s other movers and shakers, will she go so far as to aid and abet the villain who tried to blow up Nick, Sharon, Adam and Noah?
