Coronation Street‘s devious Jodie Ramsey gets her claws into Ryan Connor next week – but it’s all part of her wicked plan to make David Platt jealous.
Purposely choosing the Bistro for her date with Ryan, Jodie flirts up a storm as soon as she clocks David. But will he figure out what she’s up to?
“There’s nothing Jodie wants more than to be with David,” teases our Corrie spy. “We’re still not sure whether Jodie just wants a piece of David to ruin Shona’s life, or if she genuinely fancies him! But after her bed trick backfired, she’s not giving up…”
Jodie’s love trap begins when she’s idly swiping through dating apps, instead of helping Harry Platt get his costume ready for the school play.
So when the bored babysitter spots someone she recognises on the app, she gives his profile a cheeky ‘like’! And her next target has no idea what’s in store…
The following day, Jodie gets all glammed up for her date. But when she discovers David is meeting Nick Tilsley at the Bistro, she makes a speedy change to her plans!
Arranging to be right under David’s nose, Jodie greets Ryan at the Bistro, but it isn’t until the real object of her affections arrives that she switches on the charm…
“Jodie’s distracted all through the date,” reveals our source. “She has one eye on the door instead of paying any attention to what Ryan’s saying. However, as soon as David arrives, she’s in full performance mode!”
The second Jodie clocks David, she’s suddenly all over Ryan. She’s laughing at his jokes, leaning in to touch him and acting like this is the best date of her life.
David is bemused watching on, as it becomes increasingly obvious that this act is all for his benefit to make him jealous.
As David starts to figure out what’s going on, Ryan is surprised by Jodie’s over-the-top performance. Will he realise what her game is, or will he be reeled into her wicked web of lies? And will David confront Jodie and play straight into her hands?
