Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd was over the moon as he announced the birth of his ‘beautiful baby girl’ with wife Hanni Treweek.
It’s the couple’s first baby together, with Jack also having three children – two boys and a girl – from previous relationships.
Jack, 38, and Hanni, 37, revealed they had named their little girl Constance Ita Shepherd as they shared some first pictures of her.
‘Our beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love,’ the post on Instagram read.
The pair tied the knot last year, having met while working on Corrie, where Hanni was a storyliner, and he plays David Platt.
Friends and fans congratulated the couple on their newest addition to the family, with Chris Hughes writing: ‘Well done the pair of you 👶🏻❤️.’
‘Oh darling! So thrilled for you both ❤️ and what a beautiful name xxx,’ penned Georgia Taylor.
Sue Devaney said: ‘Gorgeous beautiful little girl and what a wonderful name. Congratulations Hanni and Jack! Can’t wait to meet her ❤️❤️❤️xxx’

The couple revealed they were expecting last year, sharing a sweet video with tiny knitted baby boots and Jack affectionately touching Hanni’s stomach.
‘We’ve been keeping a secret,’ they wrote on social media, confirming the due date was this month.
‘Thank you so much to the dream team who made this so special for us.’
Jack is already a dad to three kids, including a daughter and son from his relationship with Lauren Shippey, whom he split with in 2017.
He also fathered a son with Sammy Milewski during that relationship, but after a paternity test, he began paying child support.
Earlier this month, he announced he would be taking a break from the long-running soap, having played David Platt for over 26 years, joining in 2000.
Most recently, he’s had to contend with the insidious manipulation of his recently-discovered sister-in-law, Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown), who’s been focused entirely on destroying everything her sister, David’s wife Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) holds dear – including their marriage.
On top of this, he’s acted as a pillar of support for his big brother, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), who’s dealing with the aftermath of son Sam Blakeman’s (Jude Riordan) sectioning and the revelation that he may be suffering from schizophrenia.
