Andy Cohen shut down Tamra Judge’s claim that Shannon Beador had a meltdown over their $540 tab at The Quiet Woman restaurant, as Andy revealed more details behind the story.

Last month on Jeff Lewis Live, Tamra alleged that Shannon (after their dinner with Andy) had a “meltdown” at the restaurant, which has been the spot of several scenes on Real Housewives of Orange County. According to Tamra’s story, Shannon “didn’t stop” even after she ended up with a free meal.

On SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Andy addressed Tamra’s claims.

“There’s been some hubbub that’s bubbled up that I’ve been seeing, and I guess Tamra talked about it, about my dinner at The Quiet Woman with the Housewives of Orange County,” he said. “It was the greatest night. It was so much fun, and I loved being there with the women and the staff at The Quiet Woman.”

“I was so happy to meet [the staff]. I was so happy to meet the owner and the manager, and they love the Housewives, and they love what the show has done for their business,” he went on. “And they were so accommodating of us, and they sat us at the middle table where all the drama has happened over the years.”

Andy shared that he was happy to pay the bill.

“All I know is this: There have been a lot of stories about [how] Shannon was mad about something and something relating to the bill. I paid the bill. I was brought the bill. I happily paid the bill and left a big tip because they had so been accommodating,” he explained. “I loved them there, and I loved our time there, and it was just great.”

“I left, and when I walked out the front door, the GM said, ‘The dinner is on us, by the way. We are ripping up the bill,’ and I said, ‘I don’t want you to do that because I want the tip. I need to tip the waiter,’ or whatever, and so we figured that out, and that’s all I know,” he added. “So I don’t know in terms of people reporting that there were fits about the bill being brought, whatever. All I wanna say is I was happy to pay, and I did pay, and I love them, and it was a really great night, and I don’t think there’s any big kind of drama to this story.”

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County air on Thursday nights on Bravo.
