The Hamptons are heating up, but the frost between the former “it-couple” has never been thicker.
As Summer House Season 10 unfolds in early 2026, Lindsay Hubbard is reportedly “activated” and ready to torch the narrative surrounding Carl Radke’s latest relationship. Following a series of “shady” teasers showing Carl, 41, getting cozy with series newcomer Bailey Taylor, Lindsay has allegedly reached her breaking point, calling her ex-fiancé a “coward in disguise” who is using a “disgusting” replacement to mask his “vicious” past behavior.
The “vile” truth, according to Lindsay, is that Carl is once again “playing the victim” by pivoting to a fresh face who doesn’t know the “real” him.
“I think people will be surprised by how quickly Lindsay saw through the ‘sweet’ act,” a source close to the production told Reality Tea on February 28. “Obviously, everyone saw the trailer where Carl and Bailey are locking lips at a group dinner. But Lindsay is claiming that Bailey is just a ‘shady’ pawn in Carl’s game to look like the ‘rehabilitated nice guy’ while he still hasn’t taken accountability for blindsiding her in 2023.”
“It’s a hard pill to swallow for the fans who want to see Carl happy. Lindsay is essentially saying that Carl is ‘viciously’ incapable of a real connection and that he’s hiding behind Bailey’s ‘gentle’ nature to avoid his own shadows. She’s calling it a ‘disgusting’ cycle of avoidance,” the source added.
According to the latest episodes of Season 10, Bailey—a self-described “MILF” fan of Lindsay—initially expressed interest in fellow newbie Ben Waddell before gravitating toward Carl. Bailey has since gushed about Carl, calling him the “kindest human being I’ve ever met,” a sentiment that Lindsay reportedly finds “vile” and laughably naive.
“It started as a friendly vibe, and people kind of picked up on Carl feeling ‘excited’ to be back in the house,” a production insider admitted. “But when Lindsay arrived, the energy shifted. She’s not buying the ‘Soft Bar’ era of Carl Radke. She’s telling the girls that Carl is ‘shady-ly’ using Bailey to secure his spot on the show and to distract from the ‘disgusting’ fact that he still hasn’t apologized for their breakup.”
“Lindsay wasn’t lying when she said she’s living her best life as a mom to Gemma, but she’s not going to let Carl rewrite history. Ultimately, she decided to ‘expose’ the romance as a calculated PR move. She calls it ‘vicious’ neglect of the truth,” the insider continued.
While Carl has remained relatively tight-lipped, recently stating he is keeping his “eyes open” for a special someone, the “No Mercy” confrontation between him and Lindsay is rumored to be the climax of the season.
“She decided to just lay it all out there during a group bonfire,” a close friend of the cast explained. “The last thing Lindsay wants is for a newcomer like Bailey to be ‘sucked into the void.’ She’s calling Carl a ‘coward’ because he’d rather start a ‘fake’ storyline with a stranger than have a real conversation with his ex-fiancée. It’s a total ‘shady’ mess.”
Regarding the “shady pawn” accusation, Bailey has defended her connection with Carl, noting that the kiss happened before Lindsay even arrived at the house and that she isn’t worried about Lindsay’s opinion.
“We don’t know if this relationship will last past Labor Day. There’s no playbook for dating your ex-best friend’s ex on national television. We were very much on the same page as a fanbase where we thought Carl was ‘evolving,’ but Lindsay’s ‘No Mercy’ reality check is making everyone question his motives,” a commentator reasoned.
That said, Lindsay has been spotted flirting with Australian model Ben Waddell, signaling that she is also moving on, albeit with a much more “vocal” approach to her ex’s choices.
“Lindsay’s gonna do what she does—she’s going to speak her truth, even if it’s ‘vicious.’ This isn’t just a summer fling; it’s a battle for the narrative,” the source shared. “She cares about her integrity. She still loves her life, so in a world where Carl is ‘hiding’ behind a new girl, she’s choosing to shine a light on the ‘vile’ truth.”
Lindsay then reportedly acknowledged the “shady” vibes in a recent confessional, mentioning that “you can change the girl, but you can’t change the cowardice.”
