Amanda Batula is exiting “Summer House” after her boyfriend, West Wilson, was ousted from Season 11, Page Six can confirm.
Sources close to production told us Monday that Batula, 34, will not be a part of the new season when filming begins over Fourth of July weekend.
TMZ was first to report the news.
Earlier this month, the outlet reported that Wilson, 31, “was not picked up” for the next season of the Bravo reality show, though sources noted that he could return for a cameo.
Wilson later confirmed his departure on the “Broadcast Boys” podcast, admitting that the network made the right decision because he didn’t “think it would have been a fun summer.”
The decision was made following his romance scandal with Batula, which shocked their co-stars and fans alike.
Batula had been on the series since its first season, though she didn’t become a main cast member until Season 2.
Viewers watched the rise and fall of her relationship with her now-estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, as the pair — who started as a casual fling — ended up getting married during the Season 6 finale.
By Season 10, however, their relationship had deteriorated, and the former couple announced their separation in January.
Two months later, Batula confirmed her secret relationship with Wilson, who had joined the cast for Season 8.
The duo had kept their “connection” hidden from everyone — including Cooke and Ciara Miller, Batula’s former best friend who previously dated Wilson.
Batula ended up facing such intense backlash from fans that even Cooke voiced his concern for her mental health and well-being.
Batula and Wilson also faced heavy questioning during the three-part Season 10 reunion, as their castmates relentlessly poked holes in their relationship timeline.
The couple still seem to be going strong, though. As the reunion aired, they took a trip to Italy and openly flaunted their romance.
