General Hospital’s Willow Tait Cain thinks that her life is finally on somewhat of an even keel. After all those months without her kids and the trauma of a trial, Willow finally has her children back in her home at least part of the time. She also has her annoying husband right where she wants him — in a home-bound hospital bed, unable to speak or move. Not only that, but Willow is also a congresswoman. What could be better? Well, maybe a life where half the town doesn’t know what you did.
Willow thinks her General Hospital secret is safe

As Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) goes about life as DC’s latest darling, she doesn’t see how anything she has done in the past can come back and haunt her. She literally got away with attempted murder, but thinks only two other people know what she did. One of them can’t utter a word and the other one has agreed to keep quiet as long as Willow does what he demands.
As soon as Willow got Drew (Cameron Mathison) home, she couldn’t wait to tell her husband that she shot him in the back twice. She figured he couldn’t blab it to anyone, so she just wanted the satisfaction of Drew knowing the truth. What Willow does not know is that there is a myriad of others who also know her crime. Just because she can’t be tried again, it doesn’t mean that Willow is safe from consequences.
All the people who know what Willow did

Willow is completely clueless about the fact that quite a few people are well aware that she shot Drew. In fact, the list seems to be growing each day. She still has no idea that two other people were in the house the night she pumped those bullets into her husband’s back. Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) were the first two to figure out what Willow did and ran straight to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Alexis then ran straight to Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) and told her that Willow really did shoot Drew. Being Willow’s defense attorney, she wasn’t quite sure what to do. Willow is lucky Diane wanted her friend to keep her law license, so she talked Alexis into not throwing the case during closing arguments.
So, now Willow is up to four people who know what she did, in addition to Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Drew. But wait — there’s more.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) pretty much knew that Willow shot Drew, which is why she gave her unhinged daughter a fake alibi. When that fell through, Nina had Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) destroy the traffic cam footage of Willow near Drew’s house the night he was shot. So, Nina and Jack know what Willow did, and now so does Charlotte (Bluesy Burke). The teen overheard Nina and Jack discussing the situation and is now in on the secret, as well.
With this many people knowing Willow is an attempted murderess, it’s only a matter of time before her secret blows sky high. She might not be able to be tried again, but her congressional seat would certainly be on the line.
