On the Wednesday, April 22, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Dylan received a mysterious call, Ivy told Brooke and Ridge what she had done while RJ tried to plot and scheme.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In the design office, RJ accused Dylan of having strong feelings for Will. Dylan admitted that she did, but she wasn’t going to interfere with Will and Electra. RJ tried to get Dylan on his side by telling him that Will was into her. After all, he wouldn’t let her go homeless. But he still disrespected Electra, so he was no good for her.
RJ claimed he knew that Dylan was in love with Will, but she refused to admit it. The pair went back and forth for a while, with RJ telling Dylan that if she listened to him, they would both get what they wanted. Dylan didn’t want to get involved with all this high drama. She just wanted to go to work and have a roof over her head.
Dylan asked RJ when he had ever wanted for anything. RJ claimed his life hadn’t been easy. Dylan looked like she wanted to smack him when she asked when he had last eaten out of the trash. She pointed out that the only reason Will, RJ, and Electra had jobs was that they chose to. They didn’t actually have to work in order to eat. She wasn’t about to quit a job just because RJ wanted her to.
A stuck-up RJ said he’d give Dylan the benefit of the doubt, but not that awful Will Spencer. He had to go. When RJ stormed out, Dylan received a mysterious and threatening phone call.
Will and Electra want to make up for lost time

In the Forrester Creations showroom, Electra lamented to Will that she couldn’t believe Aunt Ivy would take that letter and betray her like that. She trusted her more than anyone and Ivy lied to her. Will took Electra in his arms to comfort her. Will felt the letter would have changed everything. He was furious and vowed that Ivy would not get away with what she did.
Will knew that when Ivy saw him, she also saw his dad, which didn’t bode well for Ivy’s opinion of him. Will once again apologized for hurting her, but stressed that he had never come onto Dylan. Now, they had lost so much time, plus they had now kissed other people. Oh my! How dare Ivy manipulate them and try to destroy them?
Will started to grow angry and swore that Ivy would not get away with what she did, which just served to alarm Electra.
Ivy pleads her case

In Eric’s office, Brooke and Ridge noticed how distracted Ivy was when he asked her questions about work. Brooke noted that Electra’s new jewelry designs were perfect for the couture line, which meant that she would be working closely with RJ. Ivy smiled at the thought.
Ridge tried to put a stop to the conversation, saying he had no desire to discuss their children’s love lives. Brooke pointed out that they were not children, but Ridge said the sentiment still applied. Ridge thought they should let the kids make their own decisions.
Ivy, of course, disagreed. She felt that if someone could be mistreated, then she had to put a stop to it, especially if it was someone beneath them. That gave Brooke pause as she didn’t see her own nephew as beneath anyone. Ivy tried to apologize, but Brooke stressed that Will was not a monster. Brooke was not sure what to say when Ivy stated that Will wasn’t half the man that RJ was.
Ridge admitted that he had a soft spot for Will, despite having a dad like Bill. Brooke pointed out his upbringing with battling parents, saying he could have grown up to be a bad young man, but he didn’t. Ivy insisted that Will was still his father’s son and RJ was so much better. Brooke conceded that it was true, just as Will and Electra stormed in.
Will told the assembled crowd how horrible Ivy was for trying to keep him and Electra apart. The pair explained to Brooke and Ridge that Electra had written a letter he had never seen until today. Ivy then piped up and admitted what she had done, as if she were justified. She was just trying to protect Electra.
Ivy claimed she knew from experience what it was like to be hurt by young men and she saw Electra following the same pattern. After all, Remy nearly destroyed Electra after she had trusted him completely. Ivy then brought up Luna and how he had hidden what happened from Electra before sleeping with her. Ivy claimed that Will chose himself when he allowed Dylan to live with him.
Will continued to defend himself, but it did no good with Ivy. She felt she had exposed exactly who he was. Ivy begged a crying Electra not to return to Will, but Electra seemed to have no idea what to do.
Brooke and Ivy got into a whole conversation about how horrible Will was to Electra and how Dylan complicated things. Ivy didn’t know why Will just didn’t tell Dylan to leave, but now she felt that RJ was perfect for her niece and much better than that Will Spencer. Brooke happily agreed.
