The Bold and the Beautiful’s July 7, 2026 episode dealt with the fallout from Will’s violent attack on RJ as Ridge pushed Electra to rethink her future. While Katie tried to help Will understand the damage he caused, Steffy spiraled over the latest round of betrayals just as a new Sheila threat began to take shape.
Ridge Warns Electra
Ridge and Electra tended to RJ in the morning after Will’s brutal assault on him. He managed to get through the ordeal without a concussion or serious injury, but they needed to find a way to squash the drama. This has ended in a physical altercation too many times to ignore.
RJ could tell that despite what Will had done to him and the secrets between them, Electra still cared for him. Brooke took off to a wellness center to find a way to move past what Hope had done to her. However, Ridge wasn’t certain that they’d ever find a way back to the way things were before.
Ridge got RJ to bed so that he could rest, which gave him time to speak to Electra about Will’s volatile behavior. He blamed Hope, Katie, and Will for impacting everyone’s lives, and he believed it was time for a serious conversation with Electra. The Forresters and Spencers didn’t mix well together, which meant she had the biggest decision of her life ahead of her.
Ridge felt compelled to guide Electra away from Will. He didn’t think it was good for her or for anyone else. She deserved better in his eyes, and he was sick and tired of RJ being on the receiving end of her relationship troubles. Beyond that, Will was so quick to resort to violence that Ridge became concerned she’d be in danger one day. Will could easily turn on her and get physical, and that wasn’t a chance Ridge was willing to take.
Katie Comforts Will
Katie checked in on Will, and he confessed that he messed things up with Electra in a big way. He and Electra weren’t in a good place at the moment, and they may never be again. Hitting RJ for the second time sent Electra packing. He punched him over and over again, and now his violent tendencies had become the central focus of every conversation about him.
Katie condemned her son’s behavior toward RJ because attacking him shouldn’t have been the way things were handled. However, to Will’s credit, RJ was standing in his living room and refusing to comply with what Will wanted. He did what he felt was necessary in the moment, regardless of what anyone else believed.
Electra had only lived with Will for a short time, but the secrets piled up and cost him everything. Keeping the truth from her was one thing, but the violence toward RJ was an entirely different scenario. Katie told her son that he needed to stop attacking RJ if there was any hope of somehow working things out with Electra. She would explain to Electra that Will knew nothing about the jewelry line, but the rest was on him and his need to control his temper.
Steffy Reaches Her Limit
Steffy was in a terrible mood and considered starting off the morning with a drink. However, Finn wanted to be by his wife’s side as she worked through all the emotions surrounding Hope’s betrayal, the shelved couture line, and now Will’s latest attack on RJ. Steffy wanted to bring Hope for the Future back, and she knew Hope’s reaction was odd, but she believed she had fallen directly into Hope’s trap.
Hope stayed silent, and despite all of their previous issues, Steffy believed they’d reached a place where this latest betrayal never would’ve happened. However, the recent events involving Will and RJ took precedence. Steffy was at a breaking point after countless betrayals. It was all too much, especially knowing Donna had been aware of Hope’s defection the entire time and allowed her husband to be humiliated in such a grand fashion.
Finn planned to support Steffy through everything, unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows, waiting to creep into his life. If Steffy thought her life was complicated because of the Logans and the Spencers, Sheila was about to take that anxiety to the next level. To make matters worse, it would be Steffy’s own mother, Taylor, facilitating it all to get what she wanted: Deacon legally free of Sheila.
