Remember When Michael B. Jordan Was On ‘Bones’? Neither Did Tamara Taylor
We’ve heard the song and dance before: there’s a lot of lines, a lot of canon, and a lot of history to keep stored up in the noggin when you’ve been on a hit television show. Gilmore Girls‘ Lauren Graham has talked many times about this when fans approach her with niche lines. With a show like the FOX crime drama Bones, the same can be said, at least for one of the actresses. Tamara Taylor, who played Cam Saroyan, recently joined hosts Emily Deschanel and Carla Gallo on the Boneheads Podcast, and Taylor was reminded by Deschanel of a guest star that has gone on to make sinfully good strides in Hollywood. Sinners star Michael B. Jordan briefly guest starred on the hit crime drama in Season 5.
The ‘Boneheads’ Podcast Gives Fans More ‘Bones’ Even Without a Reboot

Deschanel and Gallo’s podcast, Boneheads, has given fans the opportunity to see their Bones favorites reunite with there ever being an official reboot. Though Dr. Temperance Brennan herself has asked “when are we doing this?” in terms of an actual reboot, fans for now will have to settle for Boneheads. Another recent guest was T.J. Thyne, who played Jack Hodgins aka the “King of the Lab.” On the podcast, Gallo, of course, asked about a fan-favorite Bones pairing, of which Thyne played half of: Angela and Hodgins. He and he says he and Michaela Conlin, who played Angela Montenegro, actually had conversations about how their characters would develop from friends to lovers. Thyne explained, “We can’t just sustain this where we’re just like, you’re her best friend and I’m just this guy. If we’re gonna have longevity on the show. We’ve gotta have a relationship. So we started to flirt with each other as characters early on, before it was written in.”
