Years after Mike’s death, Sarah, 68, revealed she began a relationship with Robb Gravett, one of Mike’s oldest friends and a former British Touring Car champion. The two shared not just a connection to the racing world—having led the Trakstar team to victory in 1990—but also a bond through their love and respect for Mike.

Speaking on the My Time Capsule podcast, Sarah described the delicate way Robb reached out, leaving patient messages on her answering machine. At first, she thought he was simply being kind. But soon, she realized there was genuine romantic interest.

“I sort of know Mike is pulling so many strings in my life,” Sarah shared. “He has undoubtedly been responsible for me meeting my beloved, who was one of his oldest friends. I thought Robb was just being kind—but then I got the message loud and clear: he wanted to take me out!”BBC star Sarah Greene found love with late husband's friend | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV | Express.co.uk

Sarah admitted feeling nervous about entering a new relationship in the shadow of her late husband, especially with Mike’s photos still around the house. Robb, however, reassured her, saying,

“It would be strange if the photos weren’t there. And remember, I love him too.”

Their story is a touching reminder that love can blossom again, even in the most unexpected circumstances, and that sometimes, connections from the past can open the door to a hopeful future.
