Coronation Street bosses have been forced to replace a character for the fifth time and his replacement will be a familiar face to fans – having first appeared in 2021.
Harry Platt might only be ten years old, but a whopping five children have already stepped into his shoes.
He appeared for the first time in six months on Coronation Street on Monday, and this time he was portrayed by actor Joshua Leavy.
Joshua’s predecessor, Carter J Murphy, played the youngster for just eight episodes before landing a role in Matilda The Musical that forced him to quit the show.
This interestingly isn’t his first time on the cobbles and back in 2021, he played the son of Sarah Platt’s friend, Lydia – Finn Chambers.
What’s more is that he already knows his on-screen mum, having attended her acting school in Manchester.

An insider told The Sun: ‘He’s already been filming on set for a few months.
‘He went to Tina O’Brien’s acting school so he already knows her.’
Despite his age, Joshua already has an impressive number of acting credits under his belt and he has also appeared in Hollyoaks and Vodafone advertisements.
Prior to Carter J Murphy playing Harry Platt as a youngster, the role was actually occupied by twin actors Freddie and Isaac Rhodes.
Mercifully, they had a much longer stint on the show and were the face of Harry from 2017 to 2023.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the character was played by a different actor as a baby – Woody Illsley.
Harry was born in 2016 following long-standing character Sarah’s brief fling with bad boy Callum Logan, who was played by actor Sean Ward.
But the character was killed off before Harry’s birth and his body was concealed under the annex of number eight.

Harry’s first scenes portrayed by Joshua saw him compliment his older sister, Bethany, on her dress.
It significantly had a cut-out stomach, revealing the character’s stoma bag, which she had previously struggled to come to terms with.
News of the actor’s replacement comes after Catherine Tyldesley opened up about her Corrie comeback as landlady of The Rovers Return.
Catherine will reprise the role alongside her on-screen partner Ben Driscoll, played by Aaron McCusker.
‘We were on a Zoom call and [producer Kate Brooks] said, “Would you like to be landlady?” and I went “Aaargh!’,” she told The Sun.
‘My agent was like, “Nice one.” I was just really shocked.’

The actress continued: ‘It’s an absolute dream. I remember watching the show as a kid, thinking, “God, I’d kill to be landlady one day. How cool would that be?”
Catherine quit the soap to pursue other acting roles, but also to dedicate more time to her son Alfie, ten, whom she shares with personal trainer husband Tom Pitfield, they also share daughter Iris, three.
During her time on the show, Eva famously had a relationship with Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) but he had an affair with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon).
As an act of revenge when she found out, Eva faked a pregnancy and spent Aidan’s savings on a pink Range Rover.
The pair later become engaged but Maria burst into the wedding to expose the truth about the fake pregnancy.
A short time later, Eva discovered that she was actually pregnant with Aidan’s baby but agreed to give the child to her half-sister Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).
Soon after that, Aidan took his own life in 2017, and Eva became attached to baby Susie and left the Cobbles in the back of a taxi with her.
