Coronation Street spoilers: Devastating Todd scenes and Fiz’ secret exposed
Coronation Street airs some discoveries next week for one character, while worrying scenes for Todd Grimshaw too amid a domestic abuse storyline – while a character collapses too
Viewers can expect plenty of drama, concern and discoveries on Coronation Street next week.
There’s dark scenes for Todd Grimshaw next week, as his abusive partner Theo Silverton takes action against him once more. Scenes result in a character outside of the relationship becoming suspicious, leading to a falling out.
Towards the end of the week, there could be harm brought to Todd too. Todd accuses Theo of rail-roading him into doing a half marathon, but Theo claims to him him that it’s for his own good and they’ll be going for another run later as part of their training.
Theo then lies about recent fling and business acquaintance Pete, only to be rumbled by Todd’s pal Sarah Platt. She demands to know what’s going on, and soon a row breaks out.
Todd ushers her away and Theo is furious. In horrifying scenes, Theo then drags a full length mirror out and explains to Todd that now he can keep a daily check on his physique.
He pushes him to do more running leaving Todd exhausted. Later, James Bailey calls round with some fitness gear for Todd and insists on showing him how to use it.
Theo can barely mask his irritation, and he soon lashes out at his partner when James leaves, claiming he fancies him. Theo grabs him and vents at him, but will he hurt Todd?
Also next week, Fiz Brown remains exhausted and fakes a trip to see her mother Cilla who is apparently having an operation. Fiz claims Cilla needs caring for, and husband Tyrone Dobbs insists she must go.
Of course Fiz is struggling with caring for Tyrone who recently suffered a spinal injury, while she’s also caring for the kids and working every day. Tyrone’s mother Cassie Plummer steps in to help him, while Fiz is soon rumbled by her brother Chesney Brown, when he spots her at a hotel.
Finally next week, Dev Alahan gets some news about his daughter Asha, who is staying in a mental health unit. Asha explains that she’s ready to come home but whilst she knows she has the full support of her family, she’s worried as none of her friends have been in touch.
This leads to Dev calling out Nina, Summer and Amy for abandoning Asha, blaming them for Asha being torn over coming home. Soon Nina and Amy visit her, while Summer appears to be busy. Summer finally arrives but suddenly grabs the door frame and passes out, so will she be okay?
