Did Holly Ramsay Really Push Adam Peaty to Cut Out His Own Mum?

Olympic champion Adam Peaty’s fairytale wedding to Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly has turned into a family tragedy — one that has left his mother “heartbroken” and banned from attending the Christmas ceremony at Bath Abbey.

The rift reportedly began after Adam’s mum, Caroline, wasn’t invited to Holly’s lavish hen party at Soho Farmhouse — a glamorous event attended by Holly’s mother Tana Ramsay and Victoria Beckham. Caroline, 59, stayed home in Staffordshire to look after her grandson George, while her future daughter-in-law celebrated with the elite.

Caroline’s sister, Louise Williams, later unleashed her fury on Instagram, accusing Holly of being “divisive and hurtful” and claiming she had inflicted “a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal, if ever.” Louise added that Caroline had “opened her home and heart” to Holly, only to be excluded in return.

Following the public outburst, Adam allegedly sent a message to his mother, banning her from the wedding altogether and even warning that she would never see her grandson George — or any future grandchildren — again. Sources close to the family say the Olympic swimmer has “forgotten where he comes from” and has been “seduced by the fame and glamour of the Ramsays.”

Friends describe Caroline as “devastated,” recalling how she used to drive Adam to 4am swimming sessions while working full-time to fund his dream. “He’s not the same boy anymore,” one insider said. “It feels like he’s ashamed of his working-class roots now that he’s part of the Ramsay world.”

The feud deepened when Caroline’s offer to help make wedding table settings was rejected, and even her choice of dress was reportedly dismissed by the couple. She had bought a new outfit for the occasion but was told it wasn’t suitable — and though Adam offered to replace it, tensions exploded when travel plans to Bath were cancelled due to recent train stabbings.

Now, it’s believed that only Adam’s sister, Bethany, will attend the ceremony, as other relatives cannot afford the hotel costs. Caroline broke her silence on Instagram with a simple, heartbreaking message: “Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is.”
