There’s more drama ahead on EastEnders, weeks before the big Christmas and New Year chaos kicks off.
Newly released spoilers for next week’s episode reveal the fallout to a new suspect being put into the frame as Zoe Slater’s tormentor. Scenes on Thursday saw Alfie Moon finally believe his stepdaughter, when someone left a threatening message in the barrel store.
With that, we saw them uncover an earring on the floor and Zoe was adamant that it belonged to the person harassing her. Of course there was a twist when Jean Slater confirmed the earring was her own and she’d misplaced it.
Next week there’s tension, as Kat confronts Jean and tries to figure out if she’s the one sending the messages and following Zoe. But it backfires when Jean takes offence as she finds herself being accused, and she heads to confront Zoe.

Of course Zoe has no idea about Kat and Jean’s chat or that Jean has been under suspicion. So when Jean barges in and declares her innocence, Zoe realises there’s a new suspect in the frame.
She’s furious with Kat and Alfie for not telling her what they knew, while she’s also shocked by Jean’s outburst. Jean’s reaction leaves Kat and Alfie convinced she’s innocent and not the tormentor after all, but Zoe is stunned.
She berates them for letting Jean pull the wool over their eyes, utterly convinced she’s found her tormentor. She doesn’t have the backing of her family though, so she turns to former flame Anthony Trueman.
Tensions simmer, and soon Zoe and Jean end up having a blazing row but can they get past this latest drama? And is Jean really involved in what’s been going on with Zoe?

Elsewhere in Walford, after Zack Hudson and Vicki Fowler’s recent kiss, it seems there could be more from the ‘forbidden’ romance. Viewers were left stunned by the twist, given Vicki and Zack share a sister, Sharon Watts.
Vicki and Zack are not related, and Sharon is actually Vicki’s adoptive sister. That hasn’t stopped fans being uncomfortable about the kiss though, while it seems it’s not over for them just yet.
Next week, new spoilers reveal amid Vicki and her ex Ross Marshall considering a reunion, Vicki’s mind is elsewhere. Both she and Zack will continue to struggle with their feelings for each other. So perhaps it wasn’t just a silly kiss after all, but how will Sharon react if things go any further?
