FORRESTER EMPIRE IN SH0CK: ERIC JUMPING SHIP IS THE GAME-CHANGER WE’VE CRAVED!

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What’s in a name, especially the Forrester name? Eric doesn’t care where he gets to design couture, as long as he gets to design couture. If it’s at a company owned by Bill Spencer, using the name “Logan,” that’s a-okay with him. Unlike his crybaby ex-wife/sometimes daughter-in-law and her whining husband, Eric thinks Katie can succeed in whatever she sets out to do and doesn’t see the big deal in Katie using her own name for her own fashion house. Brooke and Ridge have set Eric out to pasture anyway, considering that they forced him to retire when he was adamantly against it. He even had new designs on the ready that won’t see the light of day at Forrester, but they likely will at Logan. And this serves Brooke and Ridge right after the way they have treated both Katie and Eric recently. Those two think they are the only people in the world who are ever right, so it’s going to be a shock to their system when they learn that Logan will get off the ground with Forrester’s top designer. Are they going to claim Eric is too old to design for Katie, further showing how vapid and ageist they are? Eric deserves this chance. Katie deserves this chance. And there’s not a darn thing that Brooke or Ridge can do about it.
