“She’s not the Teresa I grew up with,” Frank said candidly. “Something’s different.”
A Longtime Friendship With Deep Roots
Frank, who has known Teresa and the Giudice family for
decades, says the transformation hasn’t been subtle. Once known for her fiery loyalty and deep family ties, Teresa now seems more guarded, suspicious, and less connected to the people she once trusted.
“We all used to be like family,” Frank shared. “There was a time when Teresa would be the glue holding everyone together — now, it feels like she’s more about protecting her image than her relationships.”

A major turning point, according to Frank, was Teresa’s relationship and eventual marriage to Luis Ruelas. While Frank stopped short of blaming Louie directly, he suggested that Teresa’s inner circle has
shrunk significantly since Louie became a central figure in her life.
“I’m not saying Louie’s the reason for the change, but since he came into the picture, a lot of people have been pushed out of it,” Frank noted. “She surrounds herself with different people now — and I’m not sure it’s for the better.”
Fans have also witnessed tension between Louie and other cast members, especially during last season’s explosive reunion episodes. Frank’s comments seem to echo the sentiment that Louie’s presence has created a
divide within the once-close-knit RHONJ group.

When asked if he still considers himself close to Teresa, Frank gave a measured response:
“We’re cordial. There’s no bad blood, but it’s not what it used to be. That closeness is gone.”
He added that while he respects her right to change and evolve, it’s been disappointing to watch someone he once considered family become so distant — even unrecognizable at times.
