Isla Jade: A Name Full of Love and Legacy
The couple, who recently reconciled after a rocky few months, are expecting a baby girl, due later this month. Freddy and Holly have chosen a meaningful name for their daughter—Isla Jade—a heartfelt tribute to Freddy’s late mum.
“I wanted to incorporate my mum’s name into hers, to keep her spirit alive,” Freddy shares with pride. “But naming her Jade felt like too much pressure on her, so Isla Jade felt like the right balance.”
To honor his mother, Freddy even got her name tattooed on his neck in a meaningful gesture. “I’m impulsive, and the tattoo hurt, but it was worth it. Holly loves it, and I think she might get a matching one,” Freddy laughs.
A Journey of Healing and Growth
As Isla’s due date approaches, Freddy has been visiting his mum’s grave more often, speaking to her about the baby and his excitement. “I went there yesterday and had a little chat with Mum,” he shares. “It’s odd talking to a headstone sometimes, but it helps me feel connected to her.”
While the loss of his mum is always a part of Freddy’s story, he is focused on building a future for his own daughter, one filled with love, warmth, and cherished memories.
A Baby Girl’s Arrival Marks New Beginnings
Freddy’s anticipation of becoming a father is accompanied by a mix of excitement and nerves. “I’m thrilled, but also a little scared,” he admits. “I think every dad-to-be feels that way. But I want to be the best dad I can be.”
He jokes that he has no experience with diapers but is ready to learn. “I’ve never changed a nappy before, but I’ve cleaned up after the dog. I’m sure I’ll figure it out!”
Freddy is also preparing for the big day in his own way, packing a hospital bag that includes his own essentials alongside items for Holly and the baby. “I even bought a little leopard-print coat for the baby, just in case it’s chilly when she arrives,” he says with a smile.

Freddy’s relationship with his dad, Jeff Brazier, has also improved in recent months. “Dad’s been amazing throughout all of this. He’s so excited to be a granddad,” Freddy says. “He’s got a whole bedroom ready for the baby at his place, and I can already see him spoiling her.”
Despite some past struggles, including a public split from Holly last year, Freddy feels he’s grown significantly and is looking forward to the responsibility of fatherhood. “I’ve changed a lot. I think becoming a dad is going to help me become more responsible. I want to be there for her, always,” Freddy says.
