FURY ON THE COBBLES: FIRST LOOK AS IDRIS FACES A DEVASTATING BACKLASH OVER ABI!

🏥 Hospital Fury: Kevin Issues Chilling Death Threat to Slumlord Idris Over Baby Alfie’s ICU Horror!

The stakes have officially turned lethal in Weatherfield. Next week on Coronation Street, newcomer Idris Nazir (Junade Khan) is about to find out that being a negligent slumlord comes with a devastating price, as his toxic apartment leaves a baby fighting for life—and drives a vengeful Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) to the brink of murder.

While Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) remains completely blinded by Idris’s smooth-talking charm, the rest of the street—including a deeply skeptical Nick Tilsley and Daniel Osborne—have been waiting for his mask to slip. Next week, it doesn’t just slip; it completely shatters.

📸 The Photo That Sparked a War

In a newly released, high-stakes spoiler clip, an anxious Abi (Sally Carman-Duttine) and Kevin are seen pacing the hospital corridors, desperately putting aside their recent marriage troubles to focus entirely on their suffocating son, Alfie.

The tense waiting game violently erupts when Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) bursts into the ward holding smoking-gun evidence of criminal neglect. He whips out his phone and shows them a horrifying photograph of the flat: a bedroom wall completely caked and rotting with toxic black mould right behind Alfie’s crib.

Realizing she has been raising her son in a literal death trap, a panicked Abi runs off to find the consultant. Right on cue, a rattled Idris struts into the hospital, desperately trying to protect his precious reputation, ego, and corporate livelihood.

Pleading ignorance, the slippery businessman slickly tries to calm Kevin down, whimpering that he had absolutely “no idea” the property was in such a biohazardous condition.

🪓 Kevin’s Deadly Ultimatum

Unsurprisingly, mechanic Kevin doesn’t buy a single word of the corporate spin. Backing the terrified landlord into a corner, Kevin delivers a chilling, cold-blooded threat that proves he is ready to do time for murder:

“If Alfie doesn’t recover, you will also struggle to breathe.”

With the medical team confirming that the mould is the direct cause of Alfie’s respiratory failure, Idris’s empire is on the verge of collapsing. But rather than face accountability, the villain is about to unleash a terrifying, hidden dark side.

⛓️ Kidnapping and Dark Alliances

Desperate to shift the blame, Idris decides to hunt down the previous landlord who sold him the damp-riddled flat. But he isn’t calling a lawyer—he’s launching a criminal extraction.

Idris ruthlessly recruits his young, impressionable apprentice Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) to do his heavy-handed dirty work. In a shocking upcoming twist, Brody acts as Idris’s personal muscle, violently kidnapping the former property owner and throwing him into the back of a car!

Opening up about his character’s sickening double life, star Junade Khan teased:

“Idris isn’t just concerned about them, he wants answers… He gets Brody to do his dirty work, so that his own hands are clean. He’s got this darker side when it comes to business.”

As Idris crosses the line from a neglectful landlord to a dangerous, underground gangster, he has no idea that Brody’s dad is actually copper Kit Green. Is Idris’s slick corporate empire about to be dismantled by the police, or will Kevin Webster get his hands on him first? Weatherfield is about to explode!
