The Young and the Restless teasers for Friday, January 23, 2026, show trouble on the horizon for Abby and Devon, Mariah receiving a haunting message, and Audra and Holden making amends with Amy.
What’s next on The Young and the Restless

Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) are getting some overdue story attention on Friday’s episode. That’s when trouble is going to appear on the horizon for the two. Will the trouble be in the form of a business matter or a personal one? It’s possible that Winters isn’t immune to the ongoing Artificial Intelligence war between Victor (Eric Braeden), Jack (Peter Bergman), and Cane (Billy Flynn).
There could also be something going on with Abby and Devon’s son, Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark), who is set to make his debut on Friday’s episode. There’s no word on where we’ll be seeing Abby and Devon face their upcoming trouble, but it just may be in the familiar Chancellor mansion. A recent social media post showed that the grand old set is far from gone!
Message to Mariah

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has also been missing from the scene for a while, but that’s about to change when the troubled woman receives a haunting message on Friday’s episode. Is she going to receive another “visit” from Ian Ward (Ray Wise)?
In the past, Mariah has conjured up an image of the cult leader who messed with her mind. She either emerges stronger or falls backward after such cerebral encounters. How will she respond to this latest communication?
Poor Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is at a crossroads. She still cares about Mariah, but how long can she hang in there, given the fact that Mariah keeps pushing her away, and that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) has been there to support her in this very challenging time?
Coming to terms

Holden (Nathan Owens) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) recently made a deal to put their past behind them, and Audra agreed to act less confrontational when encountering Claire (Hayley Erin).
On Friday’s show, the two are going to address another relationship when they make amends to Amy. Holden was a good friend to Damian (Jermaine Rivers), Amy’s late son. And Audra hurt Damian’s brother, Nate (Sean Dominic). Will Amy embrace Holden and Audra’s efforts? Tune in to find out!
