Jack Osbourne was overcome with emotion as he paid a touching tribute to his late father Ozzy on what would have been the rock legend’s 77th birthday, in a heartbreaking moment that left the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp in silence.

Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne passed away from heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22, just two weeks after delivering a farewell performance alongside his bandmates at Birmingham’s Villa Park. His final public appearance has since taken on even deeper meaning for his devoted family.

In Wednesday night’s episode, the jungle stars paused around the campfire as Jack, 40, quietly shared the significance of the day with his fellow campmates.
“Today would have been my dad’s 77th birthday,” he said softly.

Fighting back tears, Jack struggled to contain his emotions as the group offered their sympathies before raising their glasses in a touching toast to the late rocker’s life and legacy.

Later, while carrying out washing-up duties around camp, Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp pulled Jack aside to offer words of comfort during the private moment.
“77… your dad lived a full life, mate,” Martin told him. “That’s how you’d want to go, right? No regrets. Doing what you love.”

Jack nodded in agreement before adding quietly, “Oh God, yeah. The most remarkable thing about it all is that he got to say goodbye to everyone. He went at home… it’s how we all want to go, right?”
Earlier that same day, Sharon Osbourne paid a deeply emotional tribute to her husband on social media, sharing a message that moved fans around the world.

“I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side,” the 73-year-old wrote on Instagram. “My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born.”
Daughter Kelly Osbourne also honoured her father, sharing a photo of Ozzy smiling beside a birthday cake and writing: “Happy birthday. I miss you, Daddy! I love you more than life itself!”

Hours earlier, Kelly, 41, had posted an image of herself sitting at the Black Sabbath bench in Birmingham, surrounded by floral tributes left by fans. Alongside the picture, she wrote: “Happy birthday Daddy. You most certainly did not die an ordinary man.”

As tributes poured in from across the globe, Kelly later admitted how difficult the day had been without her brother by her side, as Jack remained in the jungle.
Sharing a childhood photo of the pair on her Instagram Stories, she wrote: “I can’t lie, today is really hard without my brother. I would give anything to just be able to talk to him. However, he needs to keep kicking b**t in the jungle!”
Despite their grief, Sharon and Kelly later appeared publicly to accept the Lord Mayor’s Award in Ozzy’s honour in Birmingham, bravely celebrating his life and musical legacy.
Fans also gathered in their hundreds at the Black Sabbath Bench on Broad Street, laying flowers in tribute to the late rock star whose influence continues to echo around the world.
