The Valley alum Jax Taylor was spotted getting close to his and Brittany Cartwright‘s publicist, Lori Krebs.
As fans likely recall, Brittany, 37, filed for divorce from Jax, 46, in August 2024 after the pair initially separated in January 2024.
Rumors had swirled regarding Jax and Lori possibly having a thing for one another in February 2024 after a photo was shared of them cozying up. But the rumors had been shut down by both Jax and Brittany.
“It was cracking me up how everyone was going crazy about that picture you posted with our publicist, Lori,” Brittany said on an episode of her and Jax’s When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany in February 2024. “She’s our publicist, and [a] very, very good friend of mine, so a photo like that, people I know were saying a lot of crap about it, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal… So, I want to make that clear, because Lori’s an amazing publicist, a super hard worker, and she does so much amazing work for us. I just want to make sure we clear that up because that’s just ridiculous.”
Yesterday, TMZ obtained photos of Jax and Lori looking mighty cozy in an infinity pool in Mexico while on vacation.
Jax and Lori were seen embracing in the pool, wrapping their arms around each other, and standing chest to chest.
An eyewitness told the outlet that the PDA was deeper than the photos showed, insisting Jax and Lori were getting close and hugging all day. They noted it was clear they were not trying to hide that they were together.
An insider who spoke to Page Six claimed that Brittany feels “betrayed” by Lori more than Jax, as she “doesn’t expect much from him at this point.”
“When the Jax-Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany chose to believe Lori that nothing was going on,” a source dished to the outlet. “She continued to work with her and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?”
They added that Lori always “inserted herself into moments that should be about her clients,” and they insisted she has “crossed a line she cannot come back from.”
Prior to the pics going live, Lori deactivated her Instagram account.
To date, Jax, Lori, and Brittany have not commented on the photos.
