Coronation Street newcomer Jodie Ramsey has sparked concern with her strange behaviour, including her mystery trinket box and her targeting her sister Shona Platt

Spoilers for Coronation Street could reveal who Jodie Ramsey’s surprising next target is.
The character is clearly manipulating the Platts, and targeting her sister Shona Platt. It seems she’s wanting revenge after being abandoned as a child.
Initially we saw her trying to cause trouble for her sister, before trying to get closer to Shona’s husband David Platt. We also saw her making Shona’s stepdaughter Lily Platt think that her stepmother didn’t care about her.
Things turned sinister though when we saw her with her dad this week. After she claimed she had to care for him after Shona left and then her mum fled too, Jodie told her sister that eventually their dad had to be admitted to a hospital to be looked after.

It was clear there was more to this though when she commented to her dad about what happened when he didn’t do as he was told. Amid the hints that she was the reason for whatever happened to him, we then saw her with a box of mystery items.
These included a locket with photos in, a USB, a bracelet and a lighter that was engraved. Fans have started to suspect these items are trophies and she could be a killer.
Now she may have her sights set on another character. Next week, Bernie Winter is in the café with Jodie when she snaps. Bernie is growing increasingly uncomfortable with newcomer Mal being around.
Sensing Mal is trying to impress her, Bernie gets annoyed but she ends up taking it out on Jodie. When colleague Jodie serves Brian the wrong toastie by accident, Bernie calls her out.

Jodie’s taken aback when she snaps, but she soon clocks Bernie’s irritation towards Mal. So will she plan to get her own back against Bernie and what does she have planned?
It isn’t just Bernie that she might be targeting, as she also takes action against Brian and Rita. After an incident with Lily at The Kabin, Jodie tells Hope how appallingly she’s been treated.
When Hope sticks up for Rita and Brian though, Jodie sews the seed that the pair may have been horrible about her behind her back. When Brian and Rita later discuss Hope’s past, she’s left thoughtful about what Jodie has said.
But will she take revenge, and will Jodie be successful in turning her against the pair? It seems Jodie is good at tricking people into thinking a certain way, but at what cost?
