I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans are speculating that Kelly Brook has developed a cunning plan in a bid to win the reality TV show.
The former glamour model, 36, is one of the most lively campmates in the Australian jungle, but now it’s been suggested that she is deliberately acting up for the cameras so she becomes Queen of the Jungle.
Taking to Reddit, one viewer kickstarted speculation that Kelly is making ‘a deliberate effort to be vocal during the three moments each episode that are always televised.’
‘To my mind, it’s a fairly obvious attempt to guarantee attention and screen time,’ they claimed.
Redditors were quick to comment on the post and they were all in agreement that Kelly appeared to be particularly vocal at certain points in the show.
What followed was an intense debate about whether this really is a cunning, false way of behaving on the show, or if it’s simply natural to want more airtime as so many celebs participate with their careers in mind.

I’m A Celeb fans are speculating on Reddit that Kelly Brook, 46, has developed a cunning plan in a bid to win the reality TV show

The three key moments when Kelly supposedly springs to life are when the celebrities return from their trials, when the food is lowered into camp, and when the celebs begin to talk amongst themselves once Ant and Dec have announced who is doing the trials
Viewers wrote: ‘You’re not in the jungle for a camping holiday, you’re there to get noticed for work afterwards. It’s happened in every series.’;
‘What does it matter if a celeb is hoping to get more screentime? They are on the show to promote something or get their name out there. It’s not like they are doing it for the love of camping. So I don’t mind it.’

One Redditor said that these are key moments during the campmates’ day, so perhaps Kelly is genuinely excited by what is going on.
They wrote: ‘Kelly. But those are 3 highlights of a day really. So maybe she just gets excited. I dislike the hate she gets. None of us are perfect and I have a friend like Kelly. She’s naturally loud and boisterous, not for attention, it’s just the way she is.’
Another viewer suggested that it may look like Kelly is being particularly vocal at these times not as a plot to win, but because the producers are choosing to give her more airtime.
They wrote: ‘You can’t say that somebody only perks up at those moments while also knowing that there is a full 24hrs cut down into a 30 minute show.’
As reported by the Metro, one of Kelly’s friends said she was on a mission to be ‘great entertainment’ after feeling like Ant and Dec, in particular, ‘sneered at her for being a Page 3 girl’.

Others viewers suggested that, if the theory is true, another campmate who is vying for screentime is comedian Eddie Kadi, 42, who they accused of dancing for no apparent reason
Others viewers suggested that, if the theory is true, another campmate who is vying for screentime is comedian Eddie Kadi, 42, who they accused of dancing for no apparent reason.
A Redditor noted: ‘Also Eddie who literally dances as the food is lowered and made sure to go right up to Shona and Alex’s face when they were selected due to no badges and rub it in their faces but nobody will mention that just Kelly because she’s the villainised one.’
Another agreed, adding: ‘Eddie pisses me off. All he does is dance 24/7. He’s genuinely so annoying and it’s not even funny.’
Earlier in the week Kelly was criticised for ‘playing up to the boys’ in camp and not making enough effort with her female costars.
‘She is very male-centred and I don’t know if that’s a habit due to how she became successful or if it’s because she has a specific target audience she is relying on.
‘She is not a girls-girl at all.’
One example of this was when she appeared to ignore football pundit Alex Scott when talking to AngryGinge about the off-side rule.
They pointed out: ‘Her specifically calling to Ginge “I learnt the off-side rule!” to impress a boy with football knowledge as if ALEX SCOTT is not right there…who she IGNORED + she IGNORED Ruby who gave her the right answer…
‘Kelly positioned herself in a way where she dumbs herself down and needs validation from a lad. She didn’t actually care about the rule/knowledge the girls were giving her.’

Over the past week, some have pointed out that they think that Loose Women star Kelly has been on our screens more than some of her other campmates

One said on Reddit that it’s ‘time to stop sexualising herself at every opportunity’
Others have claimed that she’s using her looks to get more screen time.
The TV star started modelling as a young teen and in the early years of her career, she posed as a Page Three model and for men’s magazines like FHM and GQ – and it is something that she has made various references to.
‘Time to stop sexualising herself at every opportunity,’ one said.
Another added: ‘She needs to constantly objectify herself, later overly moaning and sucking her thumbs when eating marshmallows… anyone with half a braincell can tell the difference between someone genuinely enjoying their food and someone begging for attention.’
‘The marshmallow eating annoyed me so much. It’s so obvious. But truly, it saddens me that she thinks she has to do that.’
Kelly was also the first woman to strip off in the iconic jungle show – joining the likes of Myleene Klass, Helen Flanagan and Jorgie Porter from previous series.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight on ITV1 and ITVX.
