Peep Show Cast Reunites After 10 Years — And Fans Won’t Recognize Them!

It’s the UK cult comedy classic that launched now Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman to fame.

And for the first time since the noughties sitcom wrapped in 2015, the stars of Channel 4’s Peep Show have reunited.

Fan favourites David Mitchell, Olivia, Isy Suttie, Matt King, and Sophie Winkleman swap awkward encounters for icing sugar as they step into the iconic Bake Off tent for this year’s Christmas Special.

Notably missing was star of the show, Robert Webb, and it is not yet known why he isn’t taking part along with his former co-stars.

In the first promo shot, the cast of the multi-BAFTA-winning series wore festive accessories, including Santa hats and tinsel, as they prepare to roll up their sleeves and tackle a series of seasonal baking challenges.

They will be under the watchful eyes of judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, while Bake Off hosts Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond will be bringing the upbeat humour.

The group will attempt to whisk, knead, and decorate their way to glory with challenges paying homage to Peep Show, which will no doubt be a nostalgic moment for fans of the programme.

Last year, the one-off episode was soap-themed and featured stars from EastEnders, Coronation Street, and Emmerdale.

Chris Bisson came out on top in 2024 and won The Great Christmas Bake Off.

The Jai Sharma actor beat out EastEnders actors Natalie Cassidy (Sonia Fowler) and Dean Gaffney (Robbie Jackson) as well as fellow Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy (Tricia Dingle) and Coronation Street favourite Shobna Gulati (Sunita Alahan).

Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain’s Peep Show ran from 2003 to 2015 with 54 episodes across nine series.

It focused on the lives of Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Usborne, played by double act David and Robert respectively, in their flat in London.

Mark owns the flat and frequently references Jeremy’s resistance to paying rent and his abuse of the home, thanks to his love of weed and reluctance to work.

David and Robert launched a new show this year called Mitchell & Webb Are Not Helping.

Previously speaking about their new show together, the men said: ‘When Channel 4 asked us to do another sketch show we were startled, bemused and available.

‘It’s a perilous time for the industry, and so it’s our hope that relaunching the trickiest genre of comedy is a brilliant piece of counterintuitive commissioning.

‘And we’re confident that, unlike Roger Moore with his shoe on the bonnet of a car teetering on the edge of a cliff in For Your Eyes Only, we’re not about to give British TV comedy a final lethal nudge into the abyss.’
