PLOT TWIST OF THE CENTURY: JASON CATCHES CARLY RED-HANDED, BUT THE REACTION CHANGES EVERYTHING!

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

Do we remember the last time that Jason was in Carly’s bedroom (which has clearly been remodeled like the rest of the house)? It was during that two-week fever dream when Jason and Carly decided they were in love with one another (huh?) and got married for a hot minute. They were all ready to enjoy their wedding night when a back-from-the-dead-and-Nixon-Falls Sonny walked in and put a stop to that travesty right then and there. Soon after, Jason disappeared for a few years and that ill-advised five-minute marriage has mercifully never been mentioned again. The BFFs became BFFs again, just as it should be, and everything was right with the world again. Even when Jason took another trip into Carly’s bedroom on March 9th to find her making out with Valentin, their friendship remained secure. Not only that, but Carly is no longer the town saint, baking cookies and brownies like a family matriarch on Days of our Lives. No, she is messy and chaotic, just as she should be. When Carly is not seething at Nina keeping various children from her (not that Willow is a prize), we like her. Plus, she is willing to let Jason live his life so she can live hers and she is liking life on the edge with Valentin. Still, Jason is her person, as he always has been, keeping a friendship alive when a romance never should have happened.
