Jo-Ellen Tiberi is under fire and facing accusations of being transphobic after she was seen ‘liking’ controversial posts shared by Donald Trump Jr.
As her Real Housewives of Rhode Island co-star, Alicia Carmody, 41, was also seen “liking” an old post shared by Donald, 48, Jo-Ellen was described as “terrible” and shamed for her “evil beliefs” after “liking” critical posts in regard to the LGBTQ+ community.
In a post with several screenshots shared on Reddit on July 8, it was revealed that Jo-Ellen, 38, had “liked” a meme shared by Donald in which it was stated that veterans only get “one day” of honor while Pride was celebrated for “a whole month,” and another in which Donald described people promoting “Queers for Palestine” as “so stupid it literally hurts.”

Another meme shared by Donald said that Dylan Mulvaney, 29, was giving the “same vibe” as Jim Carrey, 64, dressed as a woman in pigtails and a bikini top in Dumb and Dumber, and an additional post said people using the “they/them” pronouns were “ugly people with no personality or skills.”

Jo-Ellen also “liked” posts poking fun at the idea that “some men get periods.”
“Very practical knowledge being taught,” Donald captioned one post as another featured a snippet from Google from Trans Hub.
“Having a period is not a feminine thing, and people of all genders menstruate, including non-binary people, agender people and even plenty of men! Menstruation doesn’t change anything about your gender, it’s just a thing that some bodies do,” read a blurb shared by the website.

As for Alicia, she “liked” a post shared by Donald in which he promoted his Triggered podcast.

After the screenshots were shared on Reddit, one person said Jo-Ellen was “actually terrible.”
“She’s also 38 years old so she’s fairly young and exposed to a lot of diversity,” they pointed out.
“Jo-Ellen is so disappointing on this,” wrote another. “As a gay man who otherwise enjoyed her on RHORI, I hate that she can’t seem to see my community in the positive light that it should be seen. She should be asked about this by an interviewer, and made to account for it.”
“If there is one thing for certain about being a Bravo fan, these people will disappoint you,” shared a third social media user.
Then, someone else said that while they “thoroughly enjoyed [Jo-Ellen’s] detective skills,” they “can’t support evil beliefs.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season two is currently in production.
