In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street, Sarah confesses the truth about killing Theo to another resident, putting her freedom at serious risk.
Elsewhere, Will and Megan’s secret contact continues, and Jodie tries to make David jealous on a date.
1. Sarah confesses the truth
With tensions high, Kit confronts Gary in the street, goading him into confessing to Theo’s murder. Gary gloats that he has no evidence against him, but Todd gets suspicious when Gary suggests that the truth is right in front of the police. Gary explains to Todd that Kit is trying to pin the murder on him as he wants him away from Sarah.
Todd then corners Sarah and begs her to tell him the truth, forcing her to eventually confess to killing Theo.
2. Will chats to Megan
Susie plays around on Will’s games console and connects to an online player – then she hears Megan’s voice. When Susie responds, Megan quickly disconnects, but Susie passes this information on to Ollie.
Maggie gets word and, assuming Will is talking to Megan, rips off his headphones. But she is left red-faced when she realises he’s gaming with Hope. However, Ollie is convinced that Will is still in contact with Megan. Can Will set himself free of his groomer ahead of the trial?
3. Asha and Nina move out
Asha tells her dad that she is serious about moving into the flat with Nina, and Dev reluctantly accepts her decision. Nina struggles to tell Roy about her plans, but he inadvertently discovers the truth another way.
Summer and Amy help Asha and Nina move in, and Summer is armed with housewarming gifts for her friends. She offers to take everyone out for dinner, making it clear that she wants to spend Billy’s money on her best mates.
4. Jodie’s date goes wrong
Jodie prepares for her date, but when she hears that David is meeting Nick for a drink in the Bistro, she changes the location last minute. She meets her date – revealed to be Ryan – in the Bistro, and when David arrives, Jodie makes a big effort to try and make him jealous. But has her crafty scheme scuppered her chances of romance?
5. Todd makes a decision
Todd reels from Sarah’s revelation, furious that Summer went to prison for her crime. Sarah stops him from telling Kit by confessing that it was Gary who helped her cover up Theo’s death. After learning the whole truth about the events of that fateful night, Todd finds it hard to come to terms with Sarah’s lies and later comes to a heartbreaking decision.
Meanwhile, Sarah continues to spiral, but she later learns information related to her own attack…
