Anyone who has known Katie Price for long will tell you the same thing: she struggles to keep things to herself.

In fact, friends often joke that Katie “can’t hold her own water” — a phrase used affectionately, but truthfully, to describe her tendency to reveal far too much about her private life, far too often.

But her latest announcement has left even those closest to her stunned.
Friends, family and fans alike were left absolutely dumbfounded after the 47-year-old sent the internet into meltdown with a dramatic Instagram post claiming she is “having a baby” with new husband Lee Andrews — just weeks after their whirlwind wedding in Dubai.

In the lengthy online rant, Katie declared that she and Lee “are soon to be three,” accompanied by a pregnant-woman emoji. The post was aimed directly at Lee’s ex-partner Alana Percival, who had publicly accused him of serious wrongdoing — allegations he has not commented on.
Whatever the truth behind those claims, Katie’s baby announcement instantly sparked speculation: Was she really pregnant?
According to multiple sources, she is not. But the reality behind the post, friends say, is even more troubling.
Those close to the former glamour model reveal that Katie is desperate to have another child — so much so that she and Lee have already begun IVF treatment, despite having been married only a matter of weeks.
One friend tells me the situation has become “deeply worrying.”
“The whole thing is an absolute nightmare,” they say. “Katie is spiralling. She is completely fixated on having another baby — it’s the only thing on her mind right now.”
What has baffled and alarmed those closest to her even more is that, since flying to the Middle East to be with her new husband, Katie has been separated from her two youngest children.
She also shares Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, with ex-husband Peter Andre, while her eldest son Harvey, 23, whom she shares with Dwight Yorke, lives in a residential care home due to complex health needs.
“She has children back in the UK who need her,” a friend says. “But it’s like she’s put everything on pause and disappeared to Dubai to start again.”
Katie has previously pursued IVF during her relationship with former boyfriend JJ Slater, even turning the journey into a Channel 4 documentary. That attempt ultimately ended in heartbreak when the treatment failed.
Harvey, born with septo-optic dysplasia, blindness and later diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and autism, requires constant care and support. Meanwhile, Junior and Princess moved to live permanently with their father in 2018 after years of instability at Katie’s West Sussex home, often referred to as the ‘Mucky Mansion.’
Friends say Junior and Princess — now forging careers of their own — are terribly worried about their mother.
“They love her deeply,” one source says. “But they are frightened by what they’re seeing.”
Although Katie has stayed in touch with them while abroad, they were just as shocked as everyone else when she announced her sudden engagement — and marriage — to Lee.
“This should be a time when Katie is focusing on the children she already has,” another friend explains. “Instead, all her energy is going into trying for another baby. She looks extremely fragile. People are scared she wouldn’t be able to cope with a newborn.”
Lee, who describes himself as a billionaire and Cambridge graduate, proposed to Katie at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa — reportedly in exactly the same way he proposed to Alana Percival just months earlier.
Former girlfriends have since come forward, raising serious concerns about his pattern of whirlwind romances and repeated proposals.
One ex, Texan nurse Crystal Janke, said she believed Lee was preparing to propose to her at the same location shortly before he became engaged to Alana.
“Who does that?” she said. “He would have proposed to both of us.”
Despite the growing list of red flags, Katie’s friends say she is choosing to ignore every warning.
“We don’t like him,” one pal admits bluntly. “Nothing about him adds up. But nobody can get through to Katie. She won’t listen.”
They fear what comes next.
“And now,” the friend adds, “the most terrifying thing is not knowing what’s going to happen — because all signs suggest it isn’t going to end well.”
