Rumors about who Summer House star Kyle Cooke may be romantically linked to have been running rampant since his split from Amanda Batula.
The latest rumors have linked him to Next Gen NYC star Ava Dash after they were spotted kissing recently.
In a conversation with Decider, Ava confirmed they have “randomly” become “in the same friend group.”
“And we’ve been hanging out a lot in group settings,” she continued. “And honestly, I think he’s so much fun.”
Ava noted Kyle “always takes the aux cord” as he’s “always DJing.”
“And honestly, he kills it,” she elaborated. “We just always have the best time. We, yeah… it’s a lot of fun.”
Ava also talked to Page Six‘s Virtual Reali-Tea, stating that she and Kyle were “having a good time” when they were seen locking lips.
“I’m open to having a really great summer, and I’m having a really great summer,” she added. “I just want to have fun.”
While Kyle had denied a relationship with Ava back in March, Ava noted that those around her and Kyle are excited to see where things go.
One person who is not, though, is her father, Damon Dash.
“The one person who I don’t know is shipping it that hard is my dad,” she claimed, sharing she did not “warn” her father before headlines of her and Kyle hit the press.
“So, that was something he just saw. He sent [the article] to me and he said, ‘Are you kidding me?’” she elaborated.
What her dad took issue with, she explained, was her “kissing in public,” but she told him he didn’t “know the whole story.”
“Honestly, me and Kyle and a lot of the Summer House people are in the same friend group now. We’ve all gotten so close,” she continued. “It’s not something I was expecting, but a lot of my best friends are friends with him and friends with Jesse [Solomon]. Like, I went to Coachella with Jesse and Mia [Calabrese], so I got to really know her there. I love their friend group so much. I’ve always been friends with people slightly older than me. So, I just feel very comfortable with them.”
